House sat for me during a difficult time where we had to change holiday plans ( 3 to 1 week) to cater for parents Ill health and Covid border restrictions. She was understanding and very flexible. She looked after our old dog beautifully and sent daily updates, the house was left sparkling, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to house sit.
Jan Maree was reliable and cared for the house, garden and pets well during some extremely hot weather. She sent us email updates and kindly left brownies and wine for us on return.
JanMaree was wonderful with my Miss Popett. She was well cared for and was not stressed at all on my return. Everything was spotless which makes things so much easier when you get home. Thank you Jan maree. Hopefully we will see you again.
I quickly felt at ease knowing my home and pets were in Jan's care. Everything in the home was taken care of so I returned to a house that was exactly as I had left it (clean and tidy). Jan was considerate of my pets being very skittish/scared and gave them the space they required to acclimate to her presence. Medicating of one cat was required and carried out as requested. I would definitely use Jan's services again 😊

Jan was very attentive to our needs for our dog, house and plants. She was excellent with communication and did a small shop and left a meal for our return which was a lovely surprise. We will use Jan again. Highly recommended.
Jan did a great job taking care of our house and Mojo, our dog while we were on holiday. This was our first time using a house sitter. and we were very pleased with her communication throughout the whole process. Jan looked after my house, garden and dog Luka with great care and attention. She took Luka to a nearby dog park, sent me happy doggie pictures, he obviously had a great time. I'm happy to recommend Jan for any future house sitting opportunities that may become available to her.
Jan sat for us for 8 days. She met with us a couple of times before we went away which was comforting. We have 2 cats, 1 senior who needs medication and a doggo who loves walks, they were content when we returned.
The house was tidy and she met us upon our return with a gift. Jan kept us updated with daily messages while we were away. Thank you for sitting for us so we could have some time away.
Jan was warm and welcoming. First time I've used a sitter and felt totally comfortable letting her stay in our house and look after our kids. Dog was very happy and the cat warmed to her rather quickly (this is unusual behaviour for him). House was spotless and I would have no hesitation to recommend Jan to others (except when we want her).
Unfortunately my circumstances changed and, instead of a 5 month sit, Jan did a 5 week sit.

Certainly feel like we hit the jackpot finding Jan to house sit for us. A lovely and caring person. Our boys were well cared for and looking healthy and happy upon our return. Jan left the house spotless and in a very good looking state for us to come home to. Jan's communication pre, post and during the house sit was great. Jan is reliable and an excellent house sitter. We were worried about how it all works as we have never had a house sitter before. She came to us for an interview to know each other and explained how it works. She is local, kind, tidy, a good carer. After we talked with her, we wanted to book with her for holidays. Jan looked after our fur baby, Tilly, and our house for the whole of June 2018. We even accidentally "surprised" her on our return! And she dealt with it all beautifully. Tilly was very comfortable with Jan and seemed to have developed a real connection with her while we were away. It's been lovely to get to know Jan, and she sent us some outstanding photos of their walks on the beach. No doubt we will be seeing her again.
This was our first experience using Aussie House Sitters and now wonder how we didn't know about it sooner! Jan was the perfect house guest looking after our family dog. Communication was great and I felt totally confident leaving my house and puppy with Jan. Upon arrival home - we were stunned to find everything so clean and tidy(better than before!). Jan was an excellent house sitter. We found her to be reliable by showing up on time, responding quickly to correspondence, following instructions for caring for our dog well and leaving our house tidy & clean on our return.
With our dogs being older they have some gastrointestinal issues that occur occasionally and Jan was prepared to deal with this as per instructions. Also dealt well with our oldest dogs issues with a thunderstorm: again following instructions.

Jan was lovely from the first time we met her, extremely friendly, we met her the week before we went away which put us at ease, Jan did an amazing job looking after our house and especially our four legged members of the family. We got updates by text and phone calls if Jan had any questions. Would highly recommend Jan.
