We are a non-smoking couple who like to take a break from city living from time to time. Locations within about 100km from Sydney, especially on the Central Coast, are what we enjoy but are open to other suggestions.
We love animals but currently don't have any ourselves. Over the years, though, we have cared for dogs, cats, fish, budgies, chickens, geese and horses. We regulary spend time at the cereals and grazing property owned by relatives so we are also comfortable with farm animals.
To date we have completed more than 20 housesits through Aussie Housesitters including numerous repeat engagements. In each case, the house owners were very satisfied with the care we provided to their pets and property.
We are able-bodied, accustomed to upstairs living and are capable with general home maintenance, gardening, pool care and rural tasks.

They cared for my home, two dogs and bird for 12 days and I returned home to a sparkling spotless house. Geoffrey even tidied my tool shed! The dogs were very relaxed and happy. It was so lovely to have Susan and Geoffrey recently housesit for us for 2 weeks. Not only did they engage with and care for our animals whilst we were away but when we came back the house was clean, Susan had stocked up on bread and milk for us, there were fresh flowers in the house and she had baked us a cake! Couldnt have asked for more.
Susan regularly sent us updates on the animals. It was so nice to go away and know they were being well cared for.

Susan & Geoffery were excellent. I couldn't have asked for better House Sitters. There care for the animals was beyond belief. The dogs were walked and cared for outstandingly. We left baby chickens as well as our normal brood in their care and all were fit and healthy and bigger when we arrived home and I'm sure the house was cleaner than I left it!
They were very respectful of our home and I wouldn't hesitate to have them back again in the future.
Very happy and highly recommend them.

Susan and Geoff were great house sitters who left the place as spotless as it was when we left it and who went the extra distance to care for our two dogs.
