Hi I'm Ruth & my husband is Neil. We have been house sitting on and off over some time. We have a 22 ft motorhome.

I previously worked in disability, Neil and I have some farming background and home maintenance skills and have had relief experience running a 17 room motel.

We pride ourselves in making sure things run smoothly while you are away which means you can have peace of mind. We are non-smokers, have no pets of our own. We have lots of experience with big & small animals (cows, horses, dogs, cats, chooks, or whatever). Check out our reviews on our profile page.

While you're away we can also keep in touch via email, video call or text to let you know how things are going. We always respect your privacy, leave the house sit as clean as when we found it. We were so lucky to have Ruth and Neil house sit for us. Our anxiety was immediately eased upon our first meeting and further with regular updates during their stay. Rosie (our high maintenance dog) absolutely adored them both and she was very spoilt. The house was left immaculate and we would highly recommend them for future house sits. Thanks Ruth and Neil for being such genuine and generous people who displayed high respect for our home and belongings.

Ruth and Neil are a lovely couple. We felt at ease with them straight away and knew we could trust them entirely. They were great with our animals and we returned to a very clean home. We believe we have formed a friendship that will always be there. When we returned home there was nothing we needed to do. Would recommend them to anyone. Neil cooks a great chicken dinner too lol. Ruth and Neil were very clean, pleasant and trust worthy. I am impressed how they left my property so clean and tidy. My cats must have been happy too as both of them were very happy and calm on our return. Communication was perfect and I couldn't of asked for anything more from them. Highly recommend I hope they will stay again :)

Ruth and Neil are a lovely couple. Ruth made contact with me prior to house sit. I let them know of our situation being on a property with farm animals and older dogs that required daily medication. Cannot praise Ruth and Neil enough. We would have no hesitation recommending this delightful couple to anyone and would certainly ask them to care for our farm and animals whenever we need a break. The home was cleaner than when we left it, we did not ask them to mow the house yard etc but they took it upon them elves as it needed to be done after the rain, A great surprise. Ruth and Neil are a wonderful pair of sitters. We trust them implicitly with our fur babies and, of course, our house! Our dogs adore them and we all know dogs don't lie. Our house is always immaculate and their communication skills are top notch. Could not recommend them more highly.

No rating Ruth and Neil house sat for us for 10 days looking after our 2 large dogs. While we were away, we received regular updates and photos. The dogs were walked daily and looked after very well. We arrived home to a clean house, mowed lawn and 2 healthy happy dogs! We would highly recommend Ruth and Neil for any future house sits and we will be asking for them to look after our home and dogs on any future trips we take.

No rating We have just returned from a five week holiday, after leaving Ruth and Neil in charge of our our fur babies, and house. They did a wonderful job, and I don't think our pup missed us much at all! Not only did they look after Tilly and Gobbo, the house was lovely to come home to, AND, Ruth had prepared a meal for us as well! I thoroughly recommend Ruth and Neil as reliable house Sitters!

No rating Ruth & Neil, house sat for 2 weeks in January/February. We were extremely happy with them, so we got them back for 8 weeks in July/August. Our Labradors were well looked after, even taking one of them to the Vets. On return our home was clean & tidy, lawns mowed, and with Vegetable & Lamb Soup in the fridge for us.
