Retired professional couple, animal lovers, ready to travel and care for your pets and home!

We are Pat and Bruce from Lake Macquarie area in New South Wales, Australia. We were both primary teachers and worked at the University of Newcastle for over 18 yrs. Both non-smokers, healthy, active and animal lovers. We have owned animals for many years, beagles and cats,so know how important it is to provide care and attention to your animals. Sadly both have passed away! We are house proud, own our place and understand the value of caring for homes, including pools and garden maintenance.
We have been house-sitting since 2014 in various places around Australia.; the Yarra Valley, the rural Eden Valley in South Australia, 75 acres with a flock of sheep, chooks and two Boston Terriers. A great experience and lots of fun!
We also flew to Perth in 2016, followed by Tasmania and Melbourne in 2017. In 2018 we returned to Hobart for 5 weeks and have just completed a return sit there. In July we drove to Eskdale in the Mitta Mitta Valley, again a lovely rural experience in a small country hamlet.
We thoroughly enjoy our various experiences and look forward to more sits. We ensure that we maintain communication with the owners and send regular updates on the animals and property. We are looking forward to traveling to many new places in Australia & overseas and giving excellent care to both your home and animals. We can provide you with a Police Check and references from previous Housesits.
