We're an Australian couple retired and have been living the dream for the last 25 years.
We spent 15 years cruising the world on our yacht. We took our Chinchilla cat with us and she enjoyed the cruising life until the age of 18. After cruising the oceans we then bought a canal barge in France which we have recently sold so we're now spending more time back in Australia. 
We're travel addicts, enjoying life, meeting people and exploring the world.
 We're originally from Sydney where we still own property, this we rent out to fund our lifestyle.
We love animals and also enjoy gardening. In the summer, our barge was a mass of flowers outside in pots, something we could never have onboard our yacht. 
We were both bought up with pets and we miss not having them around. Vicki had dogs, cats and horses all her life until we left our home to go sailing. Trevor owned and bred Alsatians in his early years. When we were living in Thailand on our yacht Vicki did voluntary work with the Animal Welfare working with the huge community of homeless dogs and cats who were left at the local temples to fend for themselves. In Turkey she once again helped out with the homeless dogs and cats feeding and taking to the vets for neutering.
We're fit active non- smokers, quiet, caring, highly reliable, honest and extremely adaptable

We return home to Sydney every year around November for six months sometimes staying with family who have now moved interstate and overseas. 
We mainly use WhatsApp to talk with family and friends however we do have an Australian and French mobile number.
 We've been members of Trusted House Sitters since 2015 and we've completed twenty sits through them in Europe and in Australia, we have received five star reviews for all our sits.
