Ohhh man, am I excited to look after your pad, your pets and your chloroformulaic comrades!
I'm a very well house trained, non-smoking, animal and plant loving humanoid - currently on a quest. Ive quit my job and sold a lot of my belongings to self-fund a creative project, so I've been hitting the housesitting circuit to buy myself more time to write.
Ive always loved house sitting, and I jump at every opportunity to look after friends' pets, plants and houses when they go away. Plus, its been a few years since Ive had pets of my own, so I relish the opportunity to make more furry and feathered friends. Ive now been house sitting full time for about two and a half years (as of April 2024). Many of these house sits have become repeat or semi-regular sits, and I have absolutely loved forming close bonds with the pets that I have minded.
I have looked after many dogs and cats, chickens and fish, as well as several horses, goats and alpaca, and even a Tawny Frogmouth! I've sat units, houses—on and off grid—and hobby farms, from the Otways all the way to Lismore. I'm hooked! And I cant wait to make more furry friends in other far flung places.
Now, I know men don't always have the best rep for keeping a nice house, but I would like to assure you I am the rare exception. I love a clean and tidy house, and I love doing the dishes. (Actually!) In fact, I do also work as a house cleaner once a fortnight, just to keep food on the table and petrol in the tank while I work. So rest assured, the house you return to will be at least as nice as you left it, but nicer if I can manage.
I'm very happy to house sit around Melbourne, or further afield. Really, I am always super thankful for a roof over my head, and new furry friends to hang with while I write.

Frankie is Fabulous!
He looked after my dog Lexi as if she were his own.
Frankie and Lexi bonded strongly, she was fit and well when I returned home.
Communication and care are only two of Frankie's strong points.
Although on reasonably short notice, he managed the sit arrangements impeccably.
We are already in conversation about Frankie looking after the place again soon.

Frankie was amazing. Looked after my doggo beautifully and was kind and generous towards us. He left the house super clean and communicated with me through-out the sit. Came home to a clean house, cake and freshly mowed lawn, which was very much appreciated!. Highly recommend Frankie as a house sitter.
Would recommend Frankie highly, made friends with our very sensitive rescue greyhound after some initial dificulties. He even gives us grief, so kudos to Frankie for this win. All the other pets were well looked after. We arrived home to a that house was spotless and we found on the kitchen bench a freshly baked Banana bread loaf, which was very tasty.

Frankie was an outstanding house/ cat sitter for Charlie! I know that Charlie missed him when I returned as he kept hopefully taking naps on the bed that Frankie had slept in!
Frankie responded to all my communications very promptly and handled a misbehaving cat flap with calm logic.
My house was very neat and clean when I returned and Frankie even left me freshly baked choc-banana bread to enjoy upon my return! He also bought me a spare soda stream gas bottle and put out my very full green ... MORE
Frankie was the perfect house sitter. We felt completely at ease with him when we met, and had total confidence in him while were away. We returned to an immaculate home and happy chooks, plus a few other little surprises! He is a total gem and we hope he can look after the place for us again soon.
Our priority was always our animals.The house and garden was a lucky last. On our return they were slimmer and fitter than when we left and we got plenty of photo updates to see how they were going. They didn't even miss us!!! Frankie walked and exercised our boys daily. The cats were pretty chilled. They had their favourite spots on the couches, beds and of course the sunny windows. Frankie is a very thoughtful and considerate person. He took very good care of our pets and home and left the house in perfect condition - even cleaner than when we left it! He even baked us banana bread. We have already asked Frankie to sit again and have recommended him to friends and family.
Frankie was amenable to date changes being brought forward a week due to covid restricted pre-travel arrangements that couldn't go ahead .
The house and pets were very well cared for and not in the least stressed by our absence. The place was left immaculate and we' were greeted with some beautiful banana bread on return. It was very evident Frankie is one of life's beautiful souls who enjoys a natural habitat and kindness to animals. We are planning our next trip away with Frankie in mind .
Frankie is an outstanding and highly trustworthy house and pet-sitter. He and his lovely partner Cassie cared for our 15- month border collie puppy Maisie with so much love and care, she was so settled on our return. They regularly sent photos and updates and left our house and garden in great shape. Frankie even offered to drive us to the airport and left freshly baked cakes for us on return. I really hope Frankie and Cassie are available next time we go away.
Frankie is the best house sitter I have ever had. He communicated really well leading up to the sit (despite short notice) and left the apartment in perfect condition. The sit included looking after 2 large dogs who seemed to be sad to have their regular humans back! I would highly, highly recommend Frankie as a house sitter, and will definitely be reaching out to him for future sits too!
I am an essential worker and required to be away for several weeks, hence my need for a Housesitter. Even though I booked everything last minute, Fankie took it all in his stride and was an absolute professional. I came back and my garden is been cared for beautifully, the house is clean and well-maintained and my AmStaff has made it clear he'd like me to move out and for Frankie to move in permanently.
