We are the Roys, travelling family of four.

About us:
We have travelled Australia for 3 years, taking our time, working, homeschooling & enjoying being part of local communities along the way.

When we take care of your house and pets, we will take that job seriously, but at the same time it won't just be a job, your pets will become part of our family while you are away 🐕 ❤️

They will receive lots of love and affection from both us and our kids as we all love animals.

We have been property owners and renters, so know the importance of taking care of a property.

We have also done housesitting and pet sitting recently, and have collected reviews both on this website, and on our Facebook page "The Roys - driveway pet and house sitters".

Emma is home on and off during the day while the kids are in school, to care for your pets, and the kids and Vijay will be there after school/work for pet playtime, walks and cuddles!

Some of our hobbies and passions are being outdoors, spending quality time and having adventures as a family, loving God and others and living a healthy and natural lifestyle.

We are happy to meet you via a phone call or video chat or in-person meet up (if we are already in Cairns) to get to know each other further, and look forward to developing a trusting relationship with you.

Emma and her family did a terrific job of looking after our home and our 14 year old Labradoodle. Emma's communication was great from the outset and we were delighted to come home to a spotless house and a happy dog. Emma and her beautiful family looked after our home and 2 dogs very well for 10 nights. Emma didn't hesitate to communicate any concerns or questions she had which was much appreciated. Her photos of the dogs were lovely to recieve as were regular updates. We returned home to a clean & tidy house and we would happily have them sit for us again. We thank them for being so respectful in our home and wish them well on their future travels. 🙏🏽

Veejay, Emma and family were a responsible, caring family who looked after our house and two acres while we were away. We arrived home to a clean, tidy house with a mowed yard. Emma was an excellent communicator who would ring with any worries or queries. if she was unsure of our expectations she would always ask which we welcomed. I would recommend Veejay and Emma as house sitters.
