Hi there,

We're Phil and Lorraine Gladman.

We started house sitting since January 2022, and we've had many house sits since then.

We are really enjoying the whole adventure of house sitting. Getting to meet different people, different dogs of varying breeds and sizes, as well as various breeds of cats and fish.

To date we've cared for horses, cows, snakes, cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, birds (finches, parrots & cockatiels) and tropical fish. Many of the dogs we've cared for have been rescue dogs, more than 50%

We've experienced different homes and apartments, small and large acreages, with differing requirements for the pets and animals.
We've gained a lot of experience along the way, and we're quite comfortable giving medications as required as well.

We've made new friends and fallen in love with many four legged friends as well.

We're both retired and are looking forward to seeing more of this beautiful country of ours, while helping people out by stepping in and caring for your pets and homes while you're away.

We are experienced animal owners, having had many cats over the years, as well as our beloved Dalmatian dog, Sabre, who we had for over 14 years. Sadly, our Sabre passed many years ago now. He definitely left his mark on our hearts. Permanently.

We now pet sit for our children with their cats, dogs and chickens.

Phil was brought up on a working farm and has an affinity with large animals. We've cared for dogs large and small Ranging from a Chihuahua to an Irish Wolfhound (77kg) and also an 80kg Great Dane.

Phil's also a retired plumbing contractor and is very handy around the home. (Lucky for me!)

My, (Lorraine) background is in finance. Having worked for the one organisation for just shy of twenty years. Fifteen of those years, as a home lender, dealing with home loan applicants from many varying backgrounds. Helping people fulfil their dreams of buying their 1st, 2nd or 3rd homes and investment properties was very fulfilling.

We're both fit and healthy and we're fully vaccinated and also boosted against Covid-19 and happily follow health guidelines as set out by our health professionals as required.

We've physically able to walk any animals that require walking and will gladly spend time with your pets to comfort them as needed, for theirs, as well as our own pleasure.

We're very house-proud people and will endeavour to follow your guidelines for inside and outside home care.

We both have valid, up to date Police Checks and have many references (and reviews available on this site) which we can provide copies of same as required.

We'd be happy to have a Zoom or a FaceTime call with you.

We'd love to be able to house sit for you and care for your four legged friends.
