About Nicole & Saša

We are full time world traveling family from Germany and getting to know people and pets all over the world is the best for us.
We started our journey in June 2018 and are travelling since then. During the pandemic we settled down or better have luckily been stuck in Johor Bahru, Malaysia - very nice place to be stuck ;-)

Now it is time to start travelling and house sitting again.

Why we love house sitting:

We are not the typical kind of tourists and want to spend as little time as possible in hotels. We want to get to know the daily life of people and take part of it. You need someone to watch your home and your pets - we need a roof over our head ;-) That is why house sitting is perfect for us.

But it goes deeper than that. We all love pets and are crazy for cats and dogs. We always had cats and our children grew up with two cats from the day they were born (2004 and 2008). So a big reason is to connect with cats and dogs again after we lost our second cat (Leeta) in 2017. She was 20 years old and like our first child. You probably know what we mean ;-)

Leeta was the reason we postponed our dream of traveling the world until we wore both in our mid forties. Some of our friends thought that this is a little late. We couldn't disagree more.

We want pets, but we also want to travel. So this is the main reason to do house sitting.

Our experience

Apart from our own pets, we have already gained a lot of experience in house sitting and the care of various animals.
In the last year before the pandemic, we spent 9 months of the year house sitting alone. During our stay in Malaysia, we fostered numerous cats in cooperation with the local animal shelter and placed them in their new homes. In addition, we also took care of the cats and dogs of our friends and neighbors in Malaysia, as word quickly spread that we cared for pets responsibly and lovingly.

We will treat and love your animals as if they were our own. We are very dependable nonsmokers and "no-party-people". So your house and your pets will be in very good hands.

Who are the Ebachs?

Nicole and Saša, the parents, are in their end forties and work in their own online business since 2001. We both grew up having different kinds of pets: dogs (big and small), cats, parrots, hamsters, and guinea pigs.

Martin (born 2008) is getting home schooled while we are traveling and Ben (born 2004) already started to work in our family business. As a former basketball and handball player, Ben loves to run and play fetch with dogs until they are all tired, including himself.

Nicole and Ben are very outdoorsy and love to go on walks, hikes and runs.. especially if they have four legged company. Martin, Ben and Sasa love to play badminton and table tennis.
