Thank you for stopping by on our profile!

We are a friendly, quiet, reliable, organised and non-smoking couple in our mid 40's with no children working as researchers in Adelaide and have been houseminding since mid 2015.

Through house minding, we have had the opportunity to mind and enjoy many loved pets and befriend their wonderful owners. Our experience includes small and big dogs, in- and outdoor cats, chooks/birds, fish, and a lizard. We have taken care of properties of various sizes. While you are away, we will ensure that your house and garden stay in good condition and most importantly that your pet(s) will be lovingly cared for with regular updates with photos.

Our preference goes out to arrangements of longer duration (ranging from between 6 weeks to several months) but are also open to house sits of somewhat shorter duration.

We are more than happy to meet you and your pet(s) in person and chat about how we can help you. Also, in case you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. References and endorsements from completed house sits, police checks, and character references are available.

We love René and Sabine and our dog Jampa loves them even more. René and Sabine looked after our home and Jampa (2 year old mini schnauzer) for 9 weeks. They deeply care for animals and were the perfect pawrents for our dog. Their communication is fantastic and even though we were stressed to leave Jampa for so long, they made the whole experience easy, safe and wonderful. Sabine was an excellent, reliable sitter for my two cats. The house was spotless when I returned and the cats happy, relaxed and well taken care of. Sabine stayed in communication throughout my holidays and updated me with pics. She was also prepared before the sit with an agreement template which showed her experience and attention to detail. Sabine is an excellent housesitter. She took wonderful care of our home, cats, and many house plants while we were overseas for three weeks. Sabine sent regular messages with photos and we came home to happy pets and a tidy home. I would highly recommend Sabine!

This was our first time having an Aussie House Sitter and it was fabulous. We could not have been happier with Sabine and René. The dogs were very happy and did not seem to miss us at all. The house was left in an immaculate condition. We got weekly emails and photos of our dogs and even our chickens. Better than we expected.

I cannot recommend Sabine and Rene too highly. They insisted on fulfilling their sit even though Rene's work had taken him to Adelaide and I would certainly have understood if they had wanted to cancel. Sabine kept me well-informed and even made friends with my very shy cat. I was impressed with their preparation and knew they were very clear about my requirements. The house was left immaculate and I would be very glad to have them house-sit for me again. I recommend them without hesitation.

No rating Sabine and Rene did a brilliant job looking after our dog, Banjo and our home. Their communication was excellent both pre-stay, during and post-stay. They gave us regular updates on how Banjo was going while we were away and we came home to a very happy dog and clean home. They treated our pet and home like their own and we can't recommend them highly enough.

They emailed us couple of time keeping in touch updating of our cat and house. Water our garden, veggies and collect our mail. We will have them again for sure. They kept in touch via email regularly and maintained our home, collected our mail and washed our dogs and watered our plants.
