A little about us...

Dan is a concrete manager and I am a primary school teacher. In 2022 we made the life-changing decision to sell our home in Perth and live full time on the road travelling this beautiful country. We have be going for 22 months now and have thoroughly enjoyed caring for a number of gorgeous furkids and their homes along the way (we're currently on our 23rd sit).

We are friendly, honest and reliable. We are non-smokers and thrive on maintaining a clean and organised home; this is reflected in the excellent references we can provide.

We absolutely love getting to know your gorgeous furkids and their individual personalities. Having our own pets, fostering for S.A.F.E and now house sitting has given us vast experience; we've cared for many breeds of dogs including 5 week old puppies, Keeshonds and Goldie's needing regular brushing, anxious/reactive rescue dogs and everything in between. Add to that cats, litters of kittens, stick insects, frogs, turtles, lizards, cockies, budgies, free range parrots, poultry, pigs (who enjoyed belly rubs), sheep, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and recently our first opportunity to care for a horse.

We call Dan the dog whisperer, every dog he meets connects so well with him. This has also filtered down to our children, who are well versed in respecting the animals and homes we care for. It is a privilege and responsibility we don't take lightly.

As a family we enjoy spending time in nature, riding bikes/walking, playing at parks and exploring new places. We of course love to balance this with time at home. I homeschool our kids, so there is no issue with us being home during the day to give your babies the love and attention they need. We ensure that we stick to their routines and their needs are our top priority.

You can be assured that your furkids, plants and home will be loved and given the upmost care. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your time away knowing everything is in safe hands.

Current availability:
We have been booked back to back in Melbourne since February and are now booked over Christmas for 6 weeks in Perth. From January onwards we're looking to secure a long term sit of 4 months+ in WA, we would also consider travelling to other states for the right long term sit.

References:
To date, we have found all of our sits through Facebook groups and therefore don't have reviews on Aussie Housesitters, but we can provide many written references, have permission from owners to give them a call and can provide a police clearance if required.
