Hi :)

I first house sat in 2016 in Sydney, while doing a yoga course. I then did a couple of longer sits in Canberra while starting a new job.

I can now work remotely in the same job, which is fantastic and allows me to be at home as needed, and so I’ve been able to do a few house sits between rentals or to take a break.

I grew up with a Jack Russell and through house-sitting and friends have cared for lots of animals, even watching over two horses and ten chooks for a while. I've enjoyed meeting pets and getting to know different neighbourhoods. It's worked out well.

I'm respectful, tidy and good with animals. Pets tend to warm to me easily.

I like to get a good idea of your expectations and follow the routine to keep everyone happy.

Alex is a very reliable and dependable house sitter. He minded our family home for 8 months. I can report that he left the house in a much cleaner state than when he moved in. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Alex as a clean, tidy and absolutely trustworthy house sitter. Who I would not hesitate to have house sit for us again.

However, we had no need to worry and returned to our home with everything spotless & no sign that Alex had ever been there! Alex was our very first Aussie House Sitter. From the very first meeting we felt comfortable that our fur baby would receive the love and care that we would give her. Not once while we were away did I ever feel like I should be worried. Upon our return, our apartment was left in the same condition as we left it. He also fixed our sink, which I thought was amazing. We HIGHLY recommend Alex and will use him again on our next travel.
