I am available for house sitting at various times throughout the year and very happy to travel. I am fully vaccinated.
I live in Young NSW. Now retired, my career has been in Administration and Motel Management. I enjoy travel and it would be a pleasure to care for your home and pets for you. I am a non-drinker but I am a light smoker (outdoors) and do not smoke near people as I know it is offensive to many.
I am an honest reliable person, clean, tidy and respect others people's property.

Janette is such a lovely lady, looking forward and hoping she will be available next time. Could not wish to have a better person take care of our house and look after our cat. She even left us a little present and fresh milk, how kind. After a 9 hour flight overnight and a 3 hour drive home it was much appreciated. My wife commented as she enter our house, "this is cleaner than when we left". We would recommend Janette to anyone looking for a house sitter, no problems.

We had Janette and her daughter, son inlaw and grandson come to our home for the Easter break.
Janette was absolutely fabulous, communication was great, our home was so well looked after and our 2 dogs and 8 hens were loved and cared for perfectly

We had Janette stay at our home for 10 days and knew right from the start that we would have a good first house sitting experience. Janette was friendly and open and a great communicator and we were immediately comfortable getting to know this lovely lady. On returning from our holiday it was clear our pets were relaxed and happy and our home was spotless. I couldn't recommend Janette highly enough to anyone planning to put their home and pets in her care.
After a couple of preliminary phone calls it was lovely to meet Janette in person before we left home. We felt quite comfortable leaving our home in her capable hands and she sent us on our way with some yummy date slice. This wonderful caring thoughtful lady could not have done anything more in our absence than what she did. Our home on return was such a pleasure to walk into so beautifully cleaned and tidy and our garden was blooming even though she experienced horrible bush fires and high winds nearby. Janette looked after the house, garden and cats with care and more importantly for me because she was unable to stay the whole time I had arranged for a more local couple of housesitters to take over from her in my absence and she communicated directly with them and the handover went smoothly. Janette and Rod stayed in our house to take care of our dog Osmo and cat Jasper we would like to say how wonderful they were. Janette & Rod were great to communicate with and fast to reply to our enquiries via Facebook or phone. Rod would take Osmo for a walk twice a day and Jasper would try to follow them. A huge thank you to Janette and Rod for taking great care of our lovely cat Ertha Kit and our home. Ertha was so happy and calm it was as though we hadn't been away at all. Well we can't thank Aussie Housesitters enough for linking us up with Janette who is such a warm and gentle person and settled into our home exceptionally well. Everything was spotless when we arrived back, taps fixed, pool best we've seen it, heating on for our return to freezing weather. But BEST of all, our doggies were so content, relaxed and happy. It is very easy to write an endorsement for Janette and Rod. They were a delight to communicate with and Lucy tells me that they looked after her very well!! I was very spoiled as the house was immaculate when I returned, and Rod even did a bit of maintenance which was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Rod and Janette took excellent care of our home, plants and animals. It was an effortless handover, and we left knowing that everything was in safe and competent hands. We returned from our week away to find a clean home, happy animals and watered plants, and a bonus was a meal for us ready to eat.

Jan and Rod did a lovely job caring for our home and dog while we were away. It was very easy to arrange, and we would be happy to recommend them!
Rod & Janette stayed on our hobby farm for 2 weeks & we arrived home to find they had cleaned it like new & tended to the animals superbly.
Our elderly friend who lives here said Rod even helped daily to feed & exercise our beautiful greyhound racers & pets & included him in a night out for dinner etc.
We highly recommend them & hope they enjoyed their stay in this special part of the Hunter Valley.
