- When not house sitting I can be found at Attunga, NSW (near Tamworth)... though I am usually house sitting
- Enjoy travel and new locations... so am open to heading interstate... past house sits have included ACT, QLD, TAS, VIC, SA, WA, NZ & Singapore... haven't been to the NT yet...
- Transport is a Subaru station wagon - any kind of off-street parking would be appreciated
- Happy to mow the lawn and water the garden
- I do not charge to housesit
- Wi-Fi access would be appreciated though I can get by with my own mobile data... if I can get a signal
- Open to return sits if everyone concerned likes the idea - at least 75% of my schedule is made up of return house sits - but I enjoy new sits, so...
- I do not smoke... only smoke-free homes please

We left Tiger and Teddy for an extended break in Steve's care. Steve gave us regular updates and a great deal of confidence that the boys and the house were in a safe pair of hands. I'd have not hesitation recommending Steve.
Steve did a wonderful job looking after our house and animals. On return the house was immaculate. Steve regularly phoned to let us know how things were progressing at home. We would not hesitate to recommend him highly for any house sit.
Steve was lovely my dogs, cats and chickens loved having him stay while we were away. He was flexible, punctual and responded to all communication. We would definitely ask him back again in the future.
Steve responded with short notice and for a short sit so completely suited our needs. He was great with communication and offered some constructive feedback. He cared for our 3 dogs (two requiring meds) and seemed at ease with the sit. Steve is reliable, courteous, organised and tidy and I would highly recommend him for your next sit - short or long term.
Steve did a wonderful job looking after our two tricky dogs and home. Our dogs were safe under Steve's care and didn't fret. We would definitely recommend him as a reliable and trustworthy housesitter.

Steve house and pet sat for us for five days earlier this month. Steve is honest, reliable and communicative, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. He looked after our dogs and geriatric cat extremely well, and took the dogs for a daily walk. We were very disappointed when he was not available for our next two house sits, but hope that he can sit for us some time in the future.
Steve minded our german shepherd girl Lou for two nights. Communication was easy, quick and reliable. The house was left the way we left it and Lou seemed to have a good time. Thanks Steve!
Steve was our first house sitter and was fantastic. His communication with us leading up to our holiday was reassuring and he made the effort to catch up with us when he was in the area before our holiday. Eddie was very happy and well looked after and our garden was as we left it... alive !! Steve also gave us a couple of updates on Eddie and our chooks during our holiday. Steve is obviously is a seasoned housesitter. We left instructions and he must have followed to the letter! The house was tidy and clean and the garden had flourished. The dogs were happy and mellow and the house looked better than we had left it! We would certainly recommend him to anyone who wants a sitter and we would be really happy to have Steve come and stay here again.

We've just returned from 6 weeks overseas, leaving Steve to care for our cat Smudge and 3 chooks and our house and garden. Steve managed to keep everyone and everything healthy and happy through both bushfires and drought. He kept us informed (without being alarmist!) and we we were comfortable in the knowledge that he would take the same care we would if we had been at home. We would be delighted to have Steve back to house sit anytime.

Steve did a terrific job of looking after my house, garden, yard and doggie Gizmo for 3 weeks in January. When I came home the house was spotless, Gizmo was happy and my very large acreage lawn had been mowed..
One of my main worries was that Gizmo might escape as he is great at sneaking out from a door left accidentally open or by digging his way out. However Steve managed things so well that this never happened.

When I met Stephen on the morning of my departure, I knew straight away that I had picked the right person. I went on my holiday feeling confident that he would do a good job housesitting and he certainly did. I was away for three weeks and when I returned, the house and yard looked wonderful. My dog Elvis was relaxed and happy in Stephen's company. Steve is a wonderful house sitter and we highly recommend him. He made the effort to meet beforehand and to spend time discussing pet and garden requirements. Steve took on the task of looking after 2 cats and 4 rabbits, and we came back to very contented pets. While we were away he sent texts to let us know that all was well...and didn't mention that next door had jackhammers going all day....Steve has integrity and thoughtfulness.

Steve has just minded my cat Cinnamon and my house for the past two weeks. Both were very well cared for - Cinny was looking for him all day yesterday and going into his room and sitting on the bed. The house was immaculate when I returned and the plants and garden alive and well cared for. Cinnamon was healthy and happy. Steve looked after our menagerie - dogs, cats, chooks, geese, ducks, pigs, peacocks and goats - whilst we were away. We returned to happy contented livestock and a neat and orderly home. We would thoroughly recommend Steve as a competent and reliable sitter. We hope he will come to us again.
Steve has just spent 3 weeks at our house looking after our dog Jesse and cat Fozz and also all the wild birds that come in for a free feed and our possums that call in every night for their fruit .As usual everything was well looked after we would highly recommend Steve to house sit and look after everything

Steve house sat for a month and also minded Gigi (our poodle). Now as you know poodles can be demanding -BUT - on returning Gigi was better behaved, happy and obviously had had a good holiday too. Steve was a great house sitter - and I know Gigi will welcome him back next time we go away. Aaah its all about our pets isn't it. More than happy to recommend him.
Steve House sat for us March 2015. He did a wonderful job looking after my boys, when we returned they looked happy and healthy. The house was left clean and neat. We have booked Steve in for July and November this year and have no hesitation in recommending him.

I would highly recommend Steve who recently looked after my house on five acres and my little dog for two weeks. He left the house extremely clean and tidy and mowed the lawns for me. My little dog was happy and well when I returned. I will be getting Steve to house-sit for me whenever he has a week or two to spare so that I can visit my family in Sydney. Thanks Steve.
