We are active retired couple with no children. Non-smokers.
We are originally from the UK but now Australian citizens having been here over 20 years.
In the past we have kept, chooks, turkeys, geese, ducks, goats, riding horse and milk cow. These days we just grow organic fruit and veg.
Because we live in a bush setting we usually prefer to sit near the coast or where there is a pool, river, or dam. We love dogs, goats, and horses and are fairly well tolerated by most cats. We have experience with older pets who may need medication.
Lorraine is neat and particular - you will find everything just as you left it - John is capable and practical - any unforeseen emergencies are not a drama.
We have been sitters with this company for 10+ years and can provide references. In addition, Lorraine can provide a copy of police clearance she has for her volunteer work.

Lorraine house sat for us for 3 weeks over Christmas and early January. Our dog Ned was well cared for and was taken on daily walks. He was given his daily medications.
Our horses enjoyed the attention they were given. Our house was neat and tidy on our return. I would highly recommend Lorraine to anyone looking for a house sitter

We had never left our two dogs in anyone else's care before. My animals were well looked after and happy when I returned home after Lorraine and John stayed at my property and looked after them.

Lorraine & John took great care of our house & animals while we were away. One of our dogs had a small injury just before we left & required some medication that was given as needed. We extended our stay by a few days which there were more than accommodating. The house was left nice & clean when we returned. We would have no hesitation in recommending Lorraine & John
Lorraine and John kindly stayed in our home for a week and cared for our elderly pets (cat and dog) as well as the chickens.
The animals were very well-loved and given their medication.
Lorraine kept in contact re the cat who seemed slightly unwell.
Everything was in order when we arrived home.
