Hi,
We are Helen & David, we have been married for over 30 yrs, originally from Tasmania, we left to travel.
We have owned & run our own business, & my family owned & ran a small boutique jewellery business in Hobart.

We have been housesitting for over 7 years all over Australia, also in our home state, it has allowed us the freedom to explore what Australia has to offer, living the nomadic lifestyle has been wonderful, meeting people & their pets has lead to some lasting friendships!

We have so much to offer as housesitters, we are extremely houseproud, love our gardening, honest, reliable , absolute animal lovers!

We understand when you leave your home in the hands of strangers can be daunting, especially when animals are involved, but can honestly say , we will treat your home with respect, as if it were our own!

We have had some of our home owners trying to book us in for the following year, as they have been very happy with us!
We always love to stay in touch whilst you are away, so we can update you on all that is happening, & for you to know your pets are being loved.

No rating Helen and David were amazing house sitters! The dogs were well looked after. We found them healthy and happy when we returned and you could tell how much they loved them. The house and outside were cleaner and better maintained then when we left it. We were also surprised and very grateful to find a platter of cold meats and salad plus fresh milk on our return, which was perfect coming home of an evening after a long day's travel. Thanks for everything guys!

We'd never used housesitters before, so were a little nervous about selecting the right sitters for our property on 2 acres with extensive gardens. We need not have worried. With Helen & David we hit the jackpot! Helen and David proved to be friendly, reliable, experienced and flexible (Covid delayed our departure and brought forward slightly our return.) Helen and David were by far the best sitters we have had in our home ! they would be hard to beat . They took great care of our dog , updated us regularly , kept our house in immaculate condition and even fixed our dodgey tap . We arrived home from our trip to find milk in the fridge , a beautiful platter of fruit and antipasto treats , a framed photo of our pooch . we can highly recommend them . Excellent sitters who go above and beyond any expectations .

No rating Helen and David sit for us for three weeks whilst we went overseas. We were very hesitant engaging a sitter for the first time. From the first time we spoke on the phone we got a great feeling and that feeling was correct. Helen and David looked after our home and kitten Thomas like it was their own.
