Hi,

My name is Debbie and I've completed many previous house sits in QLD and after a break for a couple of years it’s now time to hit the road on a long awaited QLD to WA road trip. I'll be travelling in my Subaru Forester and doing a mix of camping and house sitting along the way. I have about 6mths to do the return trip so lots to time to explore the far side.

I will try and update this next paragraph as my travels roll on.

Key dates:
Done ✔️ 19th January the sale of my home settles YIPPEE
Done ✔️ End of January to late February - Seeking North Brisbane to Southern Sunshine Coat house sit/s to relax and make sure all the loose ends are sorted before I hit the road.

Done ✔️ Late Feb: Brisbane to Port Augusta SA

Done ✔️ Late Feb - March: Port Augusta to WA,

Done ✔️ March - WA bottom half. With so much to see and do I will wait and see what house sits are available and zigzag or loop as needed.

Done ✔️ - WA EASTER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS - I have big ambitions for April and a house sit near (1hr) either end of the Munda Biddi trail would be perfect so I can repack and prep for the long ride and link up with the connecting transport to get started.

Doing - 8th April - I should be riding the Munda Bidda Trail, I hear someone just did it in 2 1/2 days, lets just say I'm going to give myself as long as it takes so no house sits for the rest of April.

June- WA
July - SA


Although I dont plan on doing much work on this trip there will be times I do sit down with the laptop and check in on business.
I can work from anywhere in Australia where there is mobile phone coverage. Whilst on a house sit I’d generally be out for a couple of hours each morning or if I do have a bigger day out, I’d most likely be home the days either side. I’m very flexible and like to replicate what the pets are used too where possible.

My hobbies include riding my Mountain bike, bush walking, museums, nature and local markets, I'm just about always able to find somewhere new to explore within a short distance.

My family have had various pets over the years including dogs, cats, birds, fish, rats, chickens, turtles and guinea pigs.

I'm a clean and well organized person who generally would clean as I go and happy to do some light gardening, pet walking etc.
