We love exploring new places and if we have a dog with us, even better! We are both retired so have plenty of time to play with pets, take dogs out for walks once or twice a day, keep the house clean and tidy, do some weeding and watering and anything else that needs doing. So far through this site we have looked after dogs, cats, fish, a turtle and a rabbit. After looking after quite a few dogs up till now, we've decided that we definitely prefer well-adjusted dogs that don't pull on the lead and don't want to attack other dogs!

Peter and Mark are the BEST possible house sitters! Not only do they take great care of the pets (our pets love them so much) but they are great communicators and are incredibly respectful of the property. They leave everything perfectly. Sheets are washed, kitchen cleaned etc,. We encouraged them to help themselves to food and drinks etc. but they bought everything that they needed. Peter and Mark were terrific housesitters. They came early for a handover, and were great communicators all round - even sending the odd photo and update about our dog's activities. Griff was super-well cared for, had lots of walks and outings and more than likely had a better time than he usual does :) The house was left in great condition, with the fire set ready to light. We would love to get Mark and Peter back to housesit at any time.

Mark and Peter, we're wonderful house sitters, and I was so happy for them to look after our new busy large puppy, because they both had a very warm personality to him, Sebastian instantly loved them, and was taken for walks and played with . Our house was clean and tidy when we returned.

They are so lovely and were incredibly respectful of our home and belongings. They took amazing care of our pets (I have noticed that our dog is visiting the spare room regularly to see if they are still there!) and communicated frequently with us on how things were going.
