We are young at heart semi-retirees and are experienced house sitters and pet carers. We had been house sitting full time for 18 months until Covid 19 forced our return to our home in Queensland in March 2020. We recently moved to the Gold Coast and now that life is returning to normal we are very keen to do a few more house sits as we desperately miss our furry friends. We really love the pats, cuddles, licks and companionship that pets give.
We are a happy, adaptable and very capable couple. Over the years we've owned many dogs - everything from a chihuahua to a St Bernard. We've also owned a number of cats including our last, a mean-tempered but gorgeous Himalayan. We've cared for dogs, cats, fish, chickens, ducks, caged birds, horses, cattle, pigs and alpacas. We've also cared for a number of elderly pets and those requiring regular medication.
Steve is a dab hand in the garden, loves to mow, water and prune and is experienced with pool care and maintenance. In the past, Steve has owned ponies and was originally raised on a farm in the UK, so larger animals don't faze him if basic care is required.
We are both very house-proud and appreciate that home owners place a great deal of trust in their house sitters. We really enjoy caring for someone's home, making sure everything is perfect for when the owners return. We'll bring in your mail, put the bins out, mow lawns, dust, clean and have your home neat as a pin.
We are both early to bed, early to rise and enjoy being active during the day, with a little bit of sight-seeing but most importantly, caring for the pets with walks, fetch and lots of sitting in a quite spot with a cuppa and a fur-baby on our laps. We are both non-smokers and prefer to spend our evenings in.

As house owners on a small acreage we take a genuine pride in our home, and maintain our home including extensive gardens pool and spa to a high standard. Like many people's homes ours contains; antique pieces of furniture and rugs, one off ceramics etc and items that are precious. Thus it was a significant decision for us when we chose Beth and Steve to move into our home. We are delighted to say they met and embraced our high expectations. Their respect of and for our home was clearly evident on our return and the trust we placed in them was fully met. Beth and Steve are lovely people who undertake their housesitting in a professional and informed manner.
Our lawns and gardens were well cared for, along with vegetable gardens and a bonsai collection. It was lovely to return home to see it all flourishing. All the more impressive as we were going through a dry time and water management (tanks and pumps) was required, this was carried out in an efficient manner.
All pool, spa maintenance and cleaning schedules were followed and implemented. Our pool and spa were not only sparkling clean but also perfectly chemically balanced.
We so appreciated Beth and Steve's diligent care of and affection for our rather spoilt dog, we could tell she had enjoyed her time with them. Our cows and horse were also cared for, being hand fed regularly.
We sincerely hope that Beth and Steve will be able to housesit for us again in the future.

Great communication before the sit and we received messages every evening to let us know that our cats were fed and inside for the night. Our place was very clean when we got back and all bedding and towels had been washed and dried for us, greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend Beth and Steve.

We were so lucky to meet Beth and Steve! Fabulous pet and housesitters! I felt straight away they were animal lovers, which was so incredibly important to us., and I was able to leave Aspen and Momo in their care with no concerns.
The house was left immaculate and they even washed all their bedding which I would have been happy to do .

Beth and Steve are a delightful couple who are committed and well organised house sitters. They came to our house and garden in the middle of a long dry and hot spell of weather, and were able to keep my large garden alive with the water that was available to us. I felt very comfortable leaving the house knowing they would treat it as their own. Upon return everything was just as we left it and I would not hesitate inviting them back again.

Both Beth and Steve looked after our three fur babies for a total of 3 weeks, and in tough circumstances with the (2019) bush fires moving in and around Sydney.
We were in unprecedented territory not experiencing fires as ferocious as they were. Beth was in constant communication with us during very high temperatures.
I would certainly recommend these guys to anyone considering sitters, however I think given their track record you would be privileged to secure them if you haven't booked them months in advance. My tip, book early!

I can't recommend Beth and Steve highly enough. They are very experienced and did a marvellous job of looking after our house and garden, as well as taking good care of our dog and chickens. I'd have them back again without any hesitation.
What a surprise to arrive home from 10 days away to find our house and garden cleaner than we have ever seen it and a 2 course dinner.
Our wonderful house sitters Beth and Steve had also taken great care of our cat Phantom, who was also quite happy to share their bed.
I would not hesitate to recommend them for any house/pet sitting jobs and hope they will house sit for us again in the future.

They understood his needs and were happy that he slept in the bedroom with them as he does for us. Luna received extra exercise and lovely trips to the Noosa river for walks and socialisation. They stayed in our beach house during the very hot March weather, and the grass and garden looked great when we got home. Beth was in contact regularly and sent us pictures of the dogs that assured us they were in very good care. She thoughtfully asked us if we wanted groceries to be purchased for our weekend stay. When we arrived at the house, we found Beth had made us lovely biscuits and a special gift. We could not have had a better experience and without hesitation I recommend Beth and Steve, who are a lovely couple to look after your animals and home.

Beth and Steve took great care of the cats and house. They turned up on time and cleaned up before they left. Our timid cats take about a week or so to get used to new people so were just warming to them by the time they left which is a shame. All the communication was very straightforward and Beth alerted me the moment she had a real concern about the possibility of cats toileting somewhere beside the litterbox, which turned out luckily to be a false alarm. They are welcome back any time.

After meeting them a few weeks before our holiday, we were at ease the leave them in the care of our 20 year old cat Felix. and our extensive garden.
