We are a semi-retired couple from Sunshine Coast. A few years ago we started touring around Australia in our motorhome and fell in love with our new lifestyle. We soon realised that house sitting gave us the perfect balance between travel adventure and the caring comfort of looking after a home and pets. Also we found that housesitting enables us to meet the locals and get to know the region in a way that being a tourist doesn't provide.
We are non-smokers and very comfortable with animals. We are quiet, clean, tidy, reliable and responsible sitters. Being healthy and active, we are happy to exercise your pets as your required level.
We have police clearance checks, excellent references and 5 star rating on all housesits since joining in early 2018. A number of owners have asked us to care for their pets again, some for the third time already. We have also received several referrals from dog owners we met at the local dog park. We simply love exploring the local area and the bond we have formed with the pets in our care.
We have also been the proud owners of homes. We have landscaped our gardens, serviced our pool, and done numerous maintenance projects on our homes. We will maintain your home to the same standard as our own.
Over the years we have owned dogs, cat, birds, chickens, ducks and geese and have loved them all. However, we understand that every pet is different and you as the owner know your pets best. We also understand that your pets need to be able to have their normal day to day routine to prevent stress or anxiety from you being away. So we are more than happy to follow the care regimen that you have in place. If at all possible we are happy to check in with you and your pet before the house sit begins or at least have an online video call.
Your home and pets will be in very safe and caring hands.

Absolute Top House Sitters!
From the first day we communicated until the day we came home after 3 months away we have nothing but praise for Ross and Nampech. They settled into our home quickly and treated it like it was their own. I'm sure it was cleaner than when we left! They both adored our boy Banjo and he certainly adored them too. What can I say but wow! If your looking for a house sitter I can really recommend Ross and Nampech. The house was spotless and my parrot who can be a pain sometimes was well looked after and has learnt new whistles.
Communication was great while I was away with photos etc. I hope they can do more house sits for me.

When we returned Ross and Nampech had to house sit not far from us with two days between. We invited them to stay until that date, which they took up the offer. Nampech cooked us dinner for both those nights, she is an amazing cook & the meals were 1st class This is the first time we have left our house with house sitters and we are truly happy!

Great communication to get things started and they were informative of how they had settled in with the dogs and then let us get on with our holiday.
The house was left immaculate and the dogs were well looked after.
We have already told them we want them back for our next holiday away!

The garden was in amazing condition as well. They were great communicators, extremely trustworthy and caring. We feel that Ross and Nampech went above and beyond in their house sitting duties and we would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to other home owners. We think one of our cats ... Our 2 week agreement ended up being 8 weeks, and we felt comfortable the whole time we were away.

I felt at ease with Ross & Nampech from our first meeting. Our fur babies were relaxed around them instantly. They asked all the right questions about how to care for the dogs and the garden. During the sit their communication was appreciated as one of our dogs requires medication.
