Yoko and Russell are returning to the Melbourne housesit scene in 2024!
Former long-term Sydney residents, we are non-smoking, non-drinking world travellers who began our housesitting career in Melbourne in 2017.
We are quiet and considerate people willing and able to look after your home, your pets and (low-level) garden needs. We look forward to hearing from people who need our help from June and beyond!

I cannot rate Russell and Yoko's dog and housesitting skills highly enough. This was our first time using Aussie House Sitters and we were very impressed. They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The dogs were very settled when we returned.... and the house spotless.
They stayed a night before we left and a night after we returned. This worked well for us. We would definitely use them again.
Russell and Yoko were exceptional house-sitters whom we'd be happy to have stay again. They were kind enough to visit us twice before the actual sit; once for an interview and once to acclimatise our dog to their company (which went well). They were in touch about a couple of minor issues while we were away and left the house clean and tidy. We'd thoroughly recommend them to prospective clients.
Russell and Yoko are a lovely couple who did a great job house sitting for us. Our house, Oskar (the dog), pot plants and garden were all in great shape when we came home.. I knew Oskar had taken to Russell and Yoko from the first meeting and knew he would be in good hands. We really appreciated them posting us with photos and news of Oskar while we were away.
This was our first experience with house sitters and it couldn't have been better! Highly recommended.

Russell and Yoko are a lovely couple and we took to them at our first meeting itself. This was the first time we were leaving our 1 year old puppy and we were unsure of how it would go. But Russell and Yoko made the whole experience smooth.
While we were away they communicated frequently through e-mail and sent us photos of our puppy.

Russell and Yoko are a lovely couple who took great care of our house, garden and cat. Regular updates on our cat's health were received as she needed veterinary care a week before we left for our holiday. We wouldn't hesitate to ask them again to house sit if the need arose.

Russell and Yoko looked after our dachshund and home for one week. We felt very comfortable leaving both in their care as they were experienced housesitters and great to deal with. Very happy to recommend their services.
Russell and Yoko house sat and cared for our 2 pups while we were away for 3.5 weeks in June/July. Our pups obviously received lots of attention and were well looked after as they were relaxed and very fond of Russell and Yoko when we returned. The communication from them prior to leaving and while we were away was prompt and responsive. As first time users we were very nervous but would do it again without concern, especially if Russell and Yoko were available!

Russell and Yoko sat our house and 2 dogs for us for 5 weeks in May/June and we couldn't be happier with them. The house was immaculate on our return, our 2 dogs were happy and healthy and communications throughout the process from before and during the sit was great. As newbies to house sitting we had many concerns but it went without a hitch and would happly recommend them for any future sit. Thanks Russell & Yoko.
Russell and Yoko took care of our home and dogs whilst we were away for 6 weeks. They kept our house beautiful and took care of our dogs better than we did :-) And our neighbours preferred Russell and Yoko more than us lol. We would definitely recommend them!!!!
