We are former professionals in journalism and the community sector/teaching.
We have been fortunate enough to retire early and to now have the time and opportunity to explore and enjoy this wonderful country and other parts of the world.
While this new lifestyle is great, one downside is that it does not afford us the pleasure of enjoying pets of our own, as we have always previously done.
We are a kind, caring and responsible couple, who appreciate the chance, and take seriously the responsibility, of spending time in others' homes. You can be assured that we would always treat your home with the utmost respect and care, and your beloved pets with the greatest affection and attention, so that you can enjoy your travels without worry.

Ros and Daryl were the perfect sitters for me. They looked after my unit and plants and most importantly, my kitties very well.
Ros kept in touch and sent me photos of Benny and Jinx which was lovely.
They had the unit looking clean and tidy on my return, with sheets and towels washed.
I highly recommend Ros and Daryl and hope to use them again if we go away again in the future.
We couldn't have been happier with Ros and Daryl. Our pooches were super content ater spending the week with them. They walked them every day and looked after them beautifully. Our house was immaculate when we came home too. They even sorted our dreaded tea towel drawer! :D Their communication was fantastic, they were sweet and easy going and even left us some essentials like milk and bread when we got home from our long trip (as well as come choccies). Ros and Daryl were amazing. This was our first time using Aussie House Sitters and we feel very lucky Ros and Daryl were available. They are kind, caring, and extremely respectful. Our dog, Daisy, is an anxious girl and she warmed to Ros and Daryl straight away.
Ros and Daryl provided care to Daisy over and above what would normally be required (due to some stormy weather) and nothing was too much trouble for them.

The most lovely, caring couple. Ros and Daryl were so wonderful to have in our family home taking care of our two dogs. Our dogs are anxious and immediately went to both Ros and Daryl. Communication was great and I'd recommend to anyone!
Ros and Daryl sat for us for 5 nights recently. They are everything their profile claims to be and more. Communication was clear and prompt. We felt comfortable as soon as we met for handover and went away knowing that our home and pussy cats we well cared for. Both asked all the important questions such as where are electricity boards and water mains leaving us feeling at ease that they could handle any unexpected events.

What can I say but a massive BIG THANK YOU to Ros and Daryl. From the 1st communication we felt at ease with them and they certainly didn't dissappoint. On return Timmy was his usual happy and affectionate self, the house was clean and tidy and chooks were happy. They kept in touch with lots of photos of Timmy and I had no worries at all. Amazing pet sitters! Thank you so much. Ros and Daryl were super easy to communicate with to arrange the pet sit. They kept us very up to date whilst we were away with lots of lovely pictures of a very content looking cat, Abby. The house was super tidy when we returned and they had even left some tasty goodies, which was very kind and thoughtful. Would absolutely love them back at any time as I'm sure would Abby are cat. Daryl and Ros are beautiful people with a gentle spirit - we knew from our first meeting with them they would be perfect house-sitters for our fur family.
We returned to happy pets, a tidy clean home and surprise flowers and treats - what generous beautiful people they are!

I would highly recommend Ros and Daryl to house and pet sit. The house was in impeccable condition when we returned and the dogs were happy and healthy. I lost my hubby in Aug 2020 during COVID restrictions with travel interstate and needed to wait before having a funeral in Vic with family. I made last min plans when Vic & Qld announced they would lift restrictions for Xmas. Ros & Daryl applied and I couldn't have been happier. These guys gave great communication with photos of Luka (whom I thought would miss me because he lost his beloved friend too as our dog also died not long before hubby). Ros and Darryl were great sitters, no fuss with good communication in arranging the sit. The dogs were happy and well on my return (I don't think they even missed me, they had such a good time). Daryl and Ros were the perfect sitters! They are great communicators and we loved receiving videos of Lucy every day. It made our holiday even more special enjoying that extra smile each day. We returned to a clean home, a very healthy and happy Lucy, and even a special treat for us in the fridge (yes, we were good! :)).

It was an absolute pleasure having Ros and Daryl look after our home and animals. We met them briefly before we left and knew from that moment that we did not need to worry about leaving them in charge. Ros and Daryl emailed us regularly with updates and videos and on our return the house was in impeccable order. We would not hesitate in recommending Ros and Daryl and would have them house / pet sit again. We just need to book our next holiday,
Daryl and Ros have been model house sitters, they cared for our home, cared for our 2 large older dogs, communicated daily sending us photo updates of walks with our dogs.
They left the home wonderfully clean and cared for we will definitely welcome them back in the future !!!
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
