Hi,
We are 2 middle aged females travelling together. We are responsible, clean, non smokers, love animals and treat other peoples property with total respect. We have been able to house/pet sit in country and city areas throughout Australia for the last 17 years.
We both enjoy animals and gardening. One of us has also farm sat (sheep and goats) for 6 months and a small Alpaca farm to the extent of Cria's being born while we were there.
Preferred Locations: We are willing to do both country and city regions. Preference will be given to country regions. We require 2 beds.

To Whom It May Concern,
Ria & Jayne house sat for us for 17 days in May 2013. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats and 8 chickens who we are reluctant to leave. Not any more. As soon as we met Ria and Jayne we knew we had done the right thing, even though this was our first experience with house sitters and we had some initial concerns when we decided to go down this route.
Ria and Jayne were organised, punctual and communicative prior to their arrival and are complete professionals.
Our house was as if they had never been in it when we arrived home and was spotless and completely as we had left it. The animals were calm and contented and we believe they didn't miss us at all, such was the quality of care they had been given by Ria and Jayne. It was instantly obvious that Ria and Jayne had followed our instructions to the letter and even more obvious that they work as a team and are across every aspect of the responsibilities of the job of house sitting.
We are only now hopeful that they will be available to house sit for us again when we take our next holiday. We are looking forward to our next break knowing it will be exactly that. We didn't worry the whole time we were away, confident that anything that did go wrong (and it didn't) would be sorted by Ria and Jayne. We had a total break thanks to Ria and Jayne.

Jayne and Ria are fantastic! They house sat for us for about 8 weeks, and they went way over and above expectations in their care of our 5 acre property and our animals. We left our 2 dogs in their very capable hands, along with a very ancient and unwell cat that required ongoing treatment and trips to the vet. I had not expected the cat to still be with us when we returned, but on our return she was looking healthier than I've seen her in months, and she'd put on weight. Thank you Jayne and ... As far as the property was concerned, I was blown away by Jayne and Ria's care of our garden. They went to a lot of trouble to protect our plants from the kangaroos who had started eating the roses and other young shrubs.
I cannot thank them enough for everything, and we have already booked them for another house sit.
It is always a risk having strangers mind one's property, and we've had some very ordinary experiences with house sitters in the past, so it's a delight to finally meet these two women who we can trust without hesitation to sit for us again if they are willing to, and if they are available when we need house sitters in the future.

We were really blessed having Jayne and Ria look after our house and two standard poodles for nearly a month. Our house was immaculate when we arrived home to our beautiful poodles who were obviously fell fed and cared for by the girls. It was the first time we had used House sitters and we were nervous leading up to going away.
Ria and Jane arranged to meet us and our precious Whitney the day before we left and arrived before we left the next day to allow a seamless departure.
Ria and Jane kept in touch by email regularly providing updates and photos of Whitney which greatly relieved us.
On our return home Ria monitored our flight and emailed for our arrival home time and arranged to leave just before we got home so ... MOREIt was the first time we had used House sitters and we were nervous leading up to going away.

Absolutely fantastic! Ria and Jayne look after our home and pets, Pinto the dog and Ink the cat, for 4 weeks over Christmas and New Year's Eve. They are incredibly kind and were very accommodating to our requests.
The house was spotless and tidy, and the pets super happy. Communications with them before and during their staying was easy and affective. We definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to enjoy their holidays knowing that their home and pets are in good hands. Thank you so much!

I couldn't have wished for better people to take care of my home and beloved cat, Frank. It was the first time I had left my feline friend for an extended period, and I was nervous. When Ria and I first spoke I was quickly put at ease by her open, warm conversation and obvious experience. While I was away, she sent regular updates and responded quickly to my notes. Ria and Jayne left my home immaculate. Frank was relaxed and looked great when I returned. Knowing he was in such good hands ... MOREI couldn't have wished for better people to take care of my home and beloved cat, Frank. It was the first time I had left my feline friend for an extended period, and I was nervous. Ria and Jayne were awesome. They are both very professional in their duties as house sitters. It was our first time using a house sitter - a very nerve-racking experience however, they communicated frequently and it felt like they were old friends doing us a favour. While we were away, they endured impending bushfires and put together a bushfire plan for our house and two dogs. We unexpectedly had one dog needing medication the day before we left for holidays, but they took it in their stride ... MORERia and Jayne were awesome. They are both very professional in their duties as house sitters. It was our first time using a house sitter - a very nerve-racking experience however, they communicated frequently and it felt like they were old friends doing us a favour. While we were away, they endured impending bushfires and put together a bushfire plan for our house and two dogs. The dogs were very well cared for and happy. It was great to get home after nearly a month away - our house was just as we left it - maybe even a little cleaner! Unfortunately there was a massive hailstorm the day before we got home and the garden got smashed - I could see how well they had looked after it though, as there were lush leaves and almost ripe fruit and vegetables on the ground due to the hail - it would have been looking amazing! Our friends have all asked how Ria and Jayne were because they knew we were a bit nervous about handing over our house and our dogs - we have highly recommended them to everyone and strongly encourage others to consider Ria and Jayne for their house sit also. We hope we can have them look after our house again if we get the opportunity.

Ria and Jayne looked after my house and dog for 6 weeks this winter. The dog took to them straight away, and I was confident to leave her in their good hands. We kept in touch while I was overseas and they even sent a photo of my dog relaxing on the settee snuggled next to Jayne. When I returned, the house was spotless, the dog in good condition (if puzzled that I was back), and the lawns mowed. If I went away again I wouldn't hesitate to ask them again, that is if they wanted to spend another ... MORERia and Jayne looked after my house and dog for 6 weeks this winter.
