I've recently retired after more than 10 years successfully managing a large resort on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
There were 152 apartments at my resort, located on 6 acres of prime beachside property that I was responsible for the "hands on" day-to-day caretaking and managing. The resort also had 3 swimming pools, a spa, a full size tennis court and 3 BBQs - all of which I personally cleaned every day for the entire 10+ years.
I've put all of my belongings into storage, rented out my properties and I'm now house and pet sitting.
I adore animals and love having them back in my life again as they were not (officially) permitted at my resort. There's a few pics on my profile showing some of my client's pets that I've cared for, including a photo of my children water skiing with our pet dog some years back.
Whilst house sitting I like to keep fit and active playing with and/or excercising your pets in accordance with your instructions. If time permits, I also enjoy providing a complimentary 'spring clean' of your house such as washing windows, cleaning the oven and under furniture etc. Just leave me a vacuum cleaner and I'll do the rest!
My driver’s licence, car registration details and a copy of my Real Estate licence (a full licence which covers property management as well as sales, lettings etc) is always provided before each sit that I do.

This was our first time using Aussie House Sitters, and we certainly hit the jackpot with Greg! From the minute he arrived for the interview, we immediately felt he was the right person to look after our pets Summer and Lolli (cat and dog) while we were away.

Greg Pride looked after our home and a very old dog for a month during October 2018. He was very friendly, reliable and respectful of our property. Looking after an aging dog was a huge ask. Greg insisted on waiting around until we arrive back home so he could go through everything and give us an in-depth handover even though it was starting to cut into the only time he could spend with his new grandchild before heading overseas to do his next house-sit. During Greg's stay we were always confident that everything and everyone was being looked after and treated well. The house (and car) had been cleaned and tidied for our arrival and was the same if not better than when we left. Our dogs bonded so strongly to Greg that they were very sad when he left. We would love to have Greg back to look after our house and animals in the future and would highly recommend anyone to do the same.
