Thom and I are full time travellers in our retirement and completed our lap around this wonderful country in 2018/2019. Prior to retirement we lived for 12 years in the beautiful Wynnum/Manly bay area of Brisbane. We love this nomadic lifestyle and hope to secure house/pet sits along the way as we take our time exploring our own back yard. We are both fully vaccinated for COVID (AstraZeneca x 2 and Pfizer x 2) and also vaccinated for Influenza (Fluad Quad).

We are a responsible couple who have owned and rented homes in the past and we are well aware of what is required to maintain a property. We are both experienced with pets and between us we have owned, loved and cared for dogs, cats, birds, chickens, horses, steers, ducks & geese. To date we have completed 44 house/pet sits and many of these have been repeat sits. We will follow your instructions and will not leave your home or pets unattended for any long periods of time. Your pets will be loved and cared for as if they were our own and will receive lots of love and attention while you are away. We love to keep a clean and tidy home and will treat your home and belongings with great respect.

Thom is 69 and I am 66, prior to our retirement Thom worked as a courier and I worked in banking administration. We are both non-smokers, we are reasonably fit for our age and do not travel with pets.

We are also registered with another house/pet sitting web site and can provide the web address so you can see our reviews online. Reviews for house/pet sits obtained via Facebook and repeat house/pet sits are available in email format.

We do travel with our caravan and need approximately 9x3 metres and 3 metres in height to be able to park it safely.

Julie and Thom were fantastic house sitters. We came home from overseas to a very happy and healthy Kelpie who steals every house sitters heart, along with a beautiful healthy garden. Our chooks, birds and fish were also well looked after. Even though they chose to stay in their caravan and not our house, it was left beautifully clean and smelling divine. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

House was left lovely and neat upon our return. Kept in contact before the sit and while we were away. Checked in on my elderly mother who lives at the back and took her bins in and out as required. Very happy with the service they provided.

We were exceptionally happy with Julie and Thom as our house sitters Not only were they exceptional at looking after our property they went beyond our expectations with our home and garden but more so with our chickens. Thom & Julie are kind, reliable, honest and friendly. They are great house sitters. Our house was lovely and clean when we arrived home. They truly loved our dogs and spoilt them rotten. Nelson is lost without his special pats and scratches (and treats!!!) The communication from them leading up to and during our sit was amazing. We received lots of lovely photos too, thanks. We would recommend Thom & Julie and look forward to having them back again in Dec 2023

Julie and Thom did a wonderful job caring for our home and our dog during our recent holiday. Communication was great throughout. They sent regular updates and photos of our puppy, and even came for a pre-sit visit to meet us and our dog, Gracie. On returning home, Thom and Julie had purchased basic groceries and food for our dinner, as we were returning late. Very thoughtful and much appreciated after a full day of travel. Julie and Thom are great housesitters. The animals loved them and would have been happy to pack their bags and follow them! The house and garden were well looked after and we would invite Julie and Thom to house sit as many times as they can fit in!

Julie and Thom were fantastic house sitters. They really cared for our two dogs Reggie and Teddie and sent weekly photos and updates. The house was spotless when we arrived back home and they went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly while we were away. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great house sitters. We will definitely have them back the next time we go away.

Wow just wow! Julie and Thom are fantastic! Their communication was outstanding, their care for our home was amazing and the love & care they showed for our two dogs was so special. ulie and Thom took fabulous care of our chooks and cats. We were constantly sent updates and photos which was especially appreciated once our baby chickens hatched.. Gardens and yard were watered and it was great to know that they were around to keep an eye one our place. Would highly recommend Julie and Thom and will definitely keep in touch for further stays.

Wow... what can I say Julie and Thom were the most amazing house sitters.. they looked after our pets with great care and attention sending regular updates and letting me know how they are going .. they went out of their way to take extreme pride in our home and look after it as if it were there own ... I would highly recommend them for any house /pet sit and hopefully we can get them again soon for our next holiday ...

We were thrilled with their care and preparation for the house -sit at our little cottage. Julie and Thom are impeccable house-sitters and we cannot recommend them more highly.
