Hello We are a retired couple and have been travelling and exploring (housesitting most of the time) for the last ten years. For the last two years we've had a break from housesitting due to the recent circumstances and have mostly been living on the NSW Mid North Coast. However we've been in Sydney for the last few months.
We are non smokers and don't drink, and we are very quiet people. We are doing housesitting as a way to explore new places, meet new people and to have some quality time with animals when the opportunity arises. I (Paul) am a photographer and always welcome being in new places to explore with my camera . Pauline is using her time to explore drawing and painting and a little photography as her way of experiencing the new places we are continually discovering.
We have had housesitting assignments in various parts of Australia and in England. There are a number of Reviews on our profile on this site, and we are able to provide references copied from other Housesitting sites we have been registered with over the years. Sharing our lives with animals is essential for us and we have cared for a great many in housesitting assignments as well as having had pets of our own in the past. During our housesitting lives we have cared for all shapes, sizes, and breeds of dogs, and many cats ranging from kittens and very timid rescued animals all the way to the ones who see themselves as 'royalty'. We understand that each animal is a unique individual with its own specific needs, and we take the responsibility of caring for them very seriously. They are always our number one priority. We are very much 'home bodies', which means we are always there to provide security for your home and time, love and attention for your pets.
In addition we have recent National Police Certificates which are also available for sighting if required.

Paul and Pauline are the epitome of house and pet sitters. We arrived home to find a very healthy, relaxed cat, a neat and tidy home and a well maintained garden. Paul and Pauline communicated with us regularly and sent pictures of a very happy cat. We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing that Paul and Pauline had everything under control back home. Paul and Pauline are great communicators and looked after my cats and unit beautifully. They were really responsive to messages right from our first interaction and they sent updates each week I was away. What a delight it was to meet Paul and Pauline before the sit. They are both very relaxed and open and we instantly felt that they were the right choice to look after our 3 cats and our home. They kept us informed of how the sit was going and sent a few pics of our cats lounging around in the sun. Paul and Pauline were great to deal with. I felt very comfortable leaving Moira and Alexis in their care. I received regular updates with photos which was lovely. They left my house tidy and watered the plants, which was much appreciated given the heat wave.

Felt very comfortable with Paul and Pauline to look after our home and 14yo cat Cookie. Kept us informed of Cookies well-being. Came home after 23 days to find everything clean and well maintained. Paul and Pauline have been absolutely fantastic as our first house sitter experience. They looked after our home and three girls (cats) so that we were able to feel confident in leaving them. The house was tidy and the girls clearly well fed on our return. They were flexible as our dates were not set in concrete and we were confident that we could rely on them totally. We would be absolutely ecstatic if they were to be available the next time we needed them and would definitely recommend them ... First, you should know that my child is my old cat, Piglet. I was nervous about leaving for 3 weeks on business but I found Paul and Pauline on this site. They took absolutely 5 star care of my Pigly Wiggly along with my apartment in Sydney. They sent me pictures every few days. By the time I came home, I think Piglet wanted to go home with Paul! Highly recommend this couple!

I highly recommend Paul and Pauline as housesitters. Communication was good before and afterwards and they sent us regular updates on the house and cat during our 3 weeks overseas. They were very attuned to our cat's personality and he took to them very quickly. The house was in perfect condition when we returned and they even left milk in the fridge and a loaf of bread in the freezer for us!
