Hello! Our names are Barbara and Stuart and we are mature, responsible, non-smokers who enjoy a quiet life. We have experience looking after many different types of pets, people's homes, farm animals and properties.
Respectful and honest are values we hold as very important when interacting with others and their property;
We have a good understanding of what is required looking after a person's home, we are home owners ourselves.
Being retired allows us plenty of free time to exercise your pet(s), give them plenty of attention and to maintain your home and garden.
The security of your pet(s), home and property left in our care is also important to us, we would like to enable you to return to your home stress free.
We have a lot of experience with large animals such as horses, goats, sheep and cows on rural properties as well.
We first began house-sitting in 2016 and we enjoy the freedom of visiting different locations all over Australia, meeting wonderful people and caring for their much loved pets while they enjoy a break away.
We can provide excellent house-sitting references.
We are both fully COVID 19 vaccinated, including boosters.
We are available for house sitting opportunities of between 1-3 weeks.

Barbara and Stuart where very prompt and took pride in knowing what was going on with our property.it made it very easy going on vacation knowing we had trust worthy people staying at our property. Everything was clean and tidy when returning. Would highly recommend using Barbara and Stuart and we would definetly be asking them first if they would house sit again for us in the future

Barbara and Stuart were wonderful housesitters. Their communication prior to arrival was fantastic. They were friendly and lovely people who immersed themselves in our little community and neighbourhood. Our animals and gardens were well cared for and the house and granny flat were immaculate! Thank you for allowing us to have a peaceful holiday without any worry about our farm and animals.

Being the first time we have used house sitters, Barbara and Stuart were very helpful and we felt very at ease having them look after our home and pets. Communication was excellent. Barbara and Stuart were excellent house sitters. We happily left our animals and property in their care. We needed a break away from the farm and all our animals. While the animals are an important part of our life they are also a big responsibility. It was great to be able to leave them and not be concerned about their care. Barbara and Stuart were amazing hosts who were a delight to meet. They arrived the day before we left and stayed in our Granny Flat so we had time to run through everything. They even cooked Lily some special food while we were away! On our return the house and Granny Flat were spotless. They were great communicators and we would happily have them again.

Barbara and Stuart went above and beyond our expections whilst looking after our dog Jack and our home. They cared for both Jack and our home as if it was their own and we received regular updates and photos. When arriving home we were greeted to a beautiful spotless home, a very happy dog and a well cared for garden. I am more than happy to highly recommend Barbara and Stuart for any future house sits. They are both a delight.

No rating Barbara is a dynamo - she kept in touch with us frequently, she went over and above in looking after our house and our dog - even cooking him up special meals to help ease his arthritis! Stuart and Barbara had to leave a little earlier due to medical needs, so we didn't get to have a hand over ( as she likes to do) but we really appreciate all she did whilst here. I'd definitely ask them to come again if they are free and in the area ✅

Barbara and Stuart went over and above what we expected by generously assisting with our commuting to and from the airport. They left our home very neat and tidy upon their departure. I have no hesitation in recommending Barbara and Stuart as a trustworthy house/pet sitters.

I returned to a clean and tidy home and garden (despite the fact that we had a couple of storms whilst I was away which created a lot of mess - all tidied up by Barbara and Stuart) and a very contented cat. They went above and beyond in looking after the pets, transformed our gardens beyond our belief, and looked after the house like it was their own - leaving the house absolutely spotless.
