Mature, semi-retired, police checked, caring and responsible sitter willing to comply with your requests regarding your beautiful fur baby. I own a 13 year old dog named Kelsey. She is very well behaved and is happy to sleep in the annex of my caravan whilst I look after your animals.
I can supply references from previous house sitting duties for your perusal, if necessary. I am happy to walk your dog daily, if required and to comply with your requirements with respect to grooming, medication and enforcement of rules such as sitting before meals.
I have attended a dog behavior course to assist me to understand doggie behavior and to look for signs of illness or injuries.
I am a house proud non-smoker and non-drinker who will look after your pets and home like it was my own. I have a current National Police check.
I have experience looking after horses, chickens, geese, turtle, sheep and cattle too. Sorry, but I'm allergic to cats.

Rowena was very capable. She took great care of our JR x Foxie ball of energy. Chekka was taken pretty much everywhere by Rowena including lattes at beach, many walks and beach/river plays. Ziggy my black cat was very chilled when we returned and horses had been fed well. I would have no hesitation in having Rowena back another time
Rowena did an amazing job looking after our dog, horse, chickens and garden. She made the effort to come out a couple of times prior to the housesit to meet our animals and get familiar with our property.
Her communication while we were away was great and helped ease our minds knowing all the animals were so cared for.
She also left the house in a cleaner state than we left it, which was lovely.
We'd happily have Rowena look after our place again.
We felt very confident leaving our beautiful Labrador with Rowena, she made him feel very loved right from the meet and greet. House was really clean when we came home and Rocky missed her, I think it was those 2 walks every day !!!!!. Would highly recommend Rowena.
Rowena house sat for us for 3 weeks over the winter holidays in 2019. She has a warm and friendly personality and makes the most of her stay. She has been caring for people for her whole life and it shows. She arrived a few days early to settle in and learn about the needs of our small farm and she considered nothing was too hard to do.
