Hi, I'm Natalie.
I've been house sitting for friends for 4-5 years before I joined this site, and have looked after cats ( 4 at once for one friend ! ), dogs, fish, a pony and a couple of birds. I vacated a Bungalow 3 years ago as the property I was renting had been sold. I joined the Aussie House Sitters site after that as I do value my own space but also enjoy the company of a furry, scaly or feathery friend.
I'm a non-smoker, am respectful and tidy and always leave the places I look after clean and tidy.
Since I've been on the site ( April 2018) I have looked after 2 Golden Retrievers (Jax and Zephy), Felix the Cat, Smokey the Cat, Ziva the Border Collie, Fergus the cat, Katy the cat, Daisy the Moodle, Banjo and Yoda (cats) and Groot the Bull Arab. Then 3 cats at once, another Golden Retriever, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Bichon Frise. Some of the pets I've looked after have been rescue pets, who may need medication or special instructions, but mostly lots of love, patience and understanding.
I've recently looked after chooks, goats, tropical fish, ponies and a bearded dragon and have enjoyed some rural settings.
I'm currently working 1-2 days per week, so have plenty of time for walks and pats. I also have a car. I have reviews below and also have references which I can attach to the messaging system through the site.

It was wonderful having Natalie here looking after our home and cat Gadget! We came home to a wonderfully clean home and a super relaxed cat! My interactions with Natalie were lovely and she is a great communicator- would highly recommend and would love her to sit again.

Nat looked after our house and 2 cats for 10 days in July 2022. We could not have been happier. When we returned from our holiday, the house was absolutely immaculate and the cats were extremely relaxed. She sent us photos of our kitties along the way and always got back to us right away if we had any questions. Communication was great throughout the process. We can highly recommend hiring Nat as a house sitter, she's fantastic!
Natalie took fantastic care of my cats, Butters and Mochi, while we were overseas for two weeks. She is a confident and experienced sitter and I felt at ease knowing my boys would be well cared for while were away. Natalie did such a sterling job, as demonstrated by a very relaxed cat that did not complain once when I got home. Nat's communication was tops, the place was just as I left it and not a single plant in a big garden bit the dust. Really can't ask for more than that.
Natalie house/pet sat for me recently while I was in hospital and was absolutely wonderful in all that she did!! I came home to a lovely clean house and my 2 dogs were very happy, healthy and very loved up... What could have been a very stressful time for me and my furbabies, turned out to be very easy and comfortable for us all due to Natalie's lovely and relaxed vibe. Thank you so much Nat!! I hope that Nat is available next time I need a sitter!!
Nat was amazing. Super easy to communicate with and looked after our precious cat Millie. Our house was perfect when we got back from our holiday. She made us feel totally at ease. You are in good hands with Nat.
We had Nat sit for our highly anxious rescue dog Aggie, and two chickens for 8 nights.
Nat was patient and open to Aggie's needs, and did a fantastic job of eventually earning her trust. Not an easy task! This was Aggie's first experience of a house sitter, and due to Nat's professional approach, Aggie benefited greatly.
Chickens and garden were maintained at a high level, and the house was spotless when we returned.

Natalie was great, we met with her beforehand and she was friendly and accommodating and our dog loved her straight away. While we were on holiday Natalie gave us regular updates and we came home to a spotlessly clean home. All of our pets were well looked after and happy when we came home. I would definitely recommend Natalie and use her again in the future to look after our home and pets.
The dates for this sit were slightly changed but Natalie came for our 5 year old cat from 27 March to 5 April. What a find she is, snap her up! After having to cut short our holiday due to Covid lockdowns 2 years ago, we were so happy she was available for us this year. Our cat had some health issues just before we left and she happily took on the task of getting him to eat well, She has such a gentle and intuitive way with animals. Albie loved her. Natalie was a great. She stayed in touch and made us feel very comfortable in looking after our house and our cat. She kept the house very clean and spent a lot of time keeping our cat company. We would definitely recommend Nat to anyone looking for a house sitter.

Natalie was prompt in all her communications, and sent us updates while we were away. She is well presented, professional, and obviously well equipped to deal with our active and sometimes precocious dog.

Natalie looked after our little old dog Daisy amazingly. She patiently tried different foods to make sure Daisy ate. Natalie played with her and cuddled her like we would. She also emailed us regular reports and photos so that we wouldn't be worried. Natalie also left us a clean and tidy house to come home to. We have booked her again very happily.
With a house sitter looking after your pets, house and garden - you can really relax. Happy days.
