Hello, we are Kath and Ian and are seeking to go somewhere warm for the winter 2023 by providing security and care for your home and pets. We have no children so it would just be the two of us. We live in New Zealand but lived in Adelaide for 2 years recently before setting of on a 30000 km/ 12 month journey by caravan through much of Australia.

During our years in Adelaide we rented 3 properties. We can provide references and testimonials for these on request. In addition we have 100% positive reviews on AirBnB which we have used in USA and South Africa as well as the extremely favourable reviews we received from our 2 house sits through Aussie Housesitters.

Prior to retiring we had professional jobs in IT and the commercial world

We regularly walk and feed our neighbours Vizsla dog while they are at work and feed and care for their Burmese cat when they are away. We are also experienced in keeping aviary birds as we have built and maintained our own outside aviary

We have owned our home on a 10 acre lifestyle block for 25 years and self maintain livestock (cattle and sheep), a large vegetable garden and orchard.

We are experienced travellers having lived in and visited many parts of the world. Having rented our home out on 3 occasions for 2 year stretches we know how important it is to get good reliable people to look after your home

We are happy to communicate by Skype, Facetime, email or phone to help you get to know us better. This extends to when you are away from your home so you are kept in touch

We have been using house sitters several times a year for five years. Ian and Kath have been by far our best house sitters. We run a busy B&B on 3 acres in the Noosa Hinterland with 2 cats, 3 chickens and guests coming and going. The B&B takes up most of the work on the property which includes, guests' relations, check in check out, online reservation systems, cleaning of rooms & providing guest breakfast. As this was our first experience using a house sitter, we were a little apprehensive about leaving our property in the hands of people we did not know but from our Facetime interview with Kath & Ian we felt very comfortable that we had found the right people to look after our property.
