60, Retired JP Teacher
70, Retired cleaner
Hi there
Thank you for the opportunity to meet you and to look after your home, pets and garden while you are away.
I have listed myself as a couple, although I am able to look after your pets and home, as a single. My sister Yvonne will join me, as a couple.
I recently retired after 40 years of very happy junior primary teaching. New adventures now await! I go to my modest holiday home at the beach as often as I wish and spend the rest of my time here, at Mt Barker.
My sister, Yvonne, has recently become a widow, after 52 years of happy marriage.
Yvonne and I are very similar people.
We like things to be neat and tidy, so your house will be kept as our homes are.
We are very quiet (definitely no partying!) reliable and caring. We are happy in our own company, or together.
We are not gardeners, although we love flowers and appreciate a nice garden. We are very happy to water your garden and pot plants. We are non smokers (never) and much prefer to enjoy a coffee, rather than wine.
My beautiful, much loved dog Bonnie, passed away at the end of April. She loved walking the beach with me. Your pets will be spoilt, just as Bonnie was. (Well family tell me she was spoilt, but can you spoil things with too much love?) I have green tree frogs, which bred at one stage. I have also enjoyed turtles, releasing them when 20 years old to live in huge dams to breed. Plus family have had cats and birds. As a teacher, I had fish, mice, spinifex hopping mice, fish, yabbies, rabbits and guinea pigs in my classroom. These stayed in the room and if needed, came home on weekends and holidays.
We both love crafts (scrapbooking, card making, candle making, sewing, kids craft projects etc).
We look forward to staying in different places and exploring new areas of SA and Australia.
Thank you for reading. I look forward to hearing from you.
