Hello folks just letting you know a bit about me, I love living in rural settings and have a bit of travelling gypsy blood. I am extremely tuned in to animals and especially love dogs. I'm a pretty quiet person and a non smoker. Currently residing in Braidwood as well as various house sitting jobs from Cobargo to Orange to Brisbane. I've been an Aussie house sitter for over 5 years enjoying housesitting for people from all walks of life including doctors and health care workers, tradesmen , farmers, artists , retirees and even an Archdeacon. Jon was a fantastic house sitter. His Communication was superb, and he looked after our animals like they were his own.
Jon was thoughtful in every detail and our home was left clean, tidy and respectful.

Jon was a fabulous sitter and we felt completely reassured our dog was in great hands. We were initially concerned because Pablo is often nervous around men but he and Jon hit it off brilliantly. Jon also took some beautiful photos of him and other subjects which he shared with us.
We came home to washed sheets, a clean house and a cooked meal for us. By the way, the dog looked at us as if we were strangers!

Jon is a great house sitter and a very kind person; looked after house, garden and animals and communicated well. He went beyond the call of duty in dealing with an animal emergency, forming a team with our neighbours and the vet. We are very grateful. And he cooked us a lovely meal on our return. We would definitely ask him again in the future.
Jon was a great house sitter, and would highly recommend him. His communication and care of our house and pet were excellent. We came home to a clean house, washed sheets, happy cat, as well as fresh milk in the fridge and a couple of treats in the pantry. We hope Jon is available next time we go away :)

Jon has been an amazing house sitter. Nothing was any trouble, and he was always looking for an opportunity to help out, cleaning windows, preparing meals for us at the end of our journey. In fact, when I inadvertently ran over one of our free ranging chickens, Jon was there to tell us to keep going on our holiday, and he would look after burying the poor wee thing. Jon looked after my two dogs and five equines for two months.
I was worried about leaving my animals for so long but he kept in constant communication with me, sending me updates, pictures and videos. It was so wonderful and I felt they were safe and secure with him.
My older dog is on medication twice daily and also needed some treatments with the vet while I was away. Jon was happy to do this and I came home to a dog that was moving better than when I left.
