Proven reliability
I've been house-sitting for 8 years and have many very positive house-sitting references which I can provide. I've recently completed house-sits in several locations in urban and rural Queensland and northern NSW, These have involved extensive ride-on mowing and bush block maintenance issues and animal care. I had a repeat parkland acreage 6-week house-sit near Maclean NSW, finishing mid-January and now have a house-sit near Maryborough, Queensland till mid-April, followed by two long-term house-sits in Hervey Bay. I'm available from 3 December in the Riverina area.
I love animals and am accustomed to caring for dogs and cats of all ages/health, birds and farm animals. I've also looked after various types of pools and gardens.
Note that I have a home base and am not reliant on house-sitting for accommodation. I have a recent National Police Check,a Queensland Blue Card and an NDIS clearance.

Quentin completed a 5-week house sit for us from 1st May to 6th June this year. We're extremely happy with all aspects of Quentin's care of our house and garden.
He took great care of our African Violet collection, which can be quite challenging with around 85 plants. Quite a few are very happily in bloom now. As we'd taken our pet bird with us, we received lovely photo updates on our flowering plants instead!

Quentin and Kath were a friendly couple and they were very caring towards my dog Tux, and he obviously enjoyed their care and devotion towards him. After all, that was the most important need I had whilst I was away travelling, and I thank them for this.
In regards to Garden Care, unfortunately, numerous pots in my garden suffered over the time I was away and plants have died from the lack of watering, and the overall garden was desperate for a thorough watering upon my return, and it ... Quentin and Kath were fantastic house sitters, and looked after our fur babies exactly as we would have.
This was the first time using this site and having someone in our house looking after our 2 dogs, our oldest dog required medication morning and night and Quentin had no dramas giving this to our boy.
We were gone for almost 4 weeks and While we were away we received updates and photos of our boys and when we returned home you could tell our boys and our home were well looked after. ... MOREQuentin and Kath were fantastic house sitters, and looked after our fur babies exactly as we would have.

Clinton and his partner-Kath recently house sat for us. It was reassuring to know he would contact us with scenarios that required our attention/ input. The dogs were well cared for and 'loved' in our absence. They were pleased to see us on our return and didn't appear stressed in the least that we had gone away .We would highly recommend Clinton to other patrons and we certainly will be asking Clinton to house sit again in the near future.

What a great experience we had with Quentin. From the first communication from him, through to meetint him, and then throughout the whole experience.
We came home after three weeks away, not even knowing he'd been here! Except that the plants looks watered, and the dog looked like she was missing her new friend.

Due to Covid problems, he kept in touch with us prior to the housesit, letting us know when he had arrived in our area - much appreciated, as it was a concern for all. Our home and garden were well-looked after - we had very little contact with Quentin while we were away, not feeling the need to do so. We invited him to stay with us after we returned home, as he had another housesit on the Tablelands soon after. ... MOREQuentin looked after our home for almost 7 weeks (late July/Aug/early Sept). Quentin and Kath did a great job looking after our place for six weeks! Our dog fell in love with them and they tried their best with our cat, who it seems is not a fan of other people.
