Hi, I am an experienced house sitter and caring pet lover with excellent references. I am honoured to have repeat sits as owners comment that their pets are happy and relaxed when they return. I would love the opportunity to look after your pet(s) and your home while you're away.
I grew up with dogs, cats, a horse, chickens, budgies and guinea pigs as pets. I have cared for small, medium and large dogs as a house sitter including Border Collie, Cavoodle, Dachshund, Jack Russell, Pug, Labrador, Maltese, Greyhound and Stafford Shire Bull Terrier; domestic short hair and special breed cats, including Burmese, Russian Blue, Siamese and Persians; horses, parrots, chickens and goldfish.
I am an active person and would enjoy taking your dog for a walk around the local neighbourhood or to the local park. I work standard business hours in the Education Industry and prefer to be at home in the evenings and weekends so any house bound pets would also receive a lot of company and attention.
I am comfortable administering medication as I have taken care of older dogs and cats that needed tablets on a daily basis for various medical conditions. I understand some pets need some special care during thunder storms and fireworks and am happy to sit with them and reassure them. If your pet is used to sleeping in the room with you, this is fine too.
I have my own transport and am a responsible, single, quiet, clean and tidy non-smoker who is reliable and trustworthy.
Having been a Homestay Host to overseas students I understand what it's like to have others stay in your home and will respect your privacy and requests.
I am confident and happy to attend to any jobs that are required such as gardening and maintenance.
In previous positions I have had experience with cleaners, couriers, electricians, gardeners, plumbers etc. and am able to handle any needs should they arise.
I can provide references that can verify that I am clean, reliable and responsible and I am happy to use the Aussie House Sitters' House Sitting Agreement. I have a National Police Check Certificate for your added peace of mind.
I will take care of your property and pets as if they were my own and ensure you return to a clean and tidy home and happy, relaxed pets.

This was my first time using Aussie House Sitters to have my house and cats looked after and Terry not only made this the easiest process for me but has exceeded every single one of my expectations.

Highly recommend Terry to take excellent care of your pet and home. Terry left my house spotless, and even washed and dried the linen and remade the bed. My elderly cat was cared for perfectly and he was relaxed and calm when i got home. Terry did an amazing job pet sitting for us. She was a prompt communicator and sent a daily update on my 4 furbabies. The house looked as though she hadn’t even stayed here! It was spotless. Terry is an absolutely wonderful housesitter. She looked after our rag doll cat who was very content and happy when we arrived back from holiday. Terry looked after the house and cleaned and maintained everything perfectly. The house was sparkling clean when we returned. You would not have even known anyone was there!

Terry was an excellent house sitter for our home and pets. She has a real affinity for animals and we have dubbed her The Cat Whisperer as our very shy Tonkinese Monty warmed to her as she was actually able to photograph and pat him. The moment I met Terry I knew she was the perfect person to sit my house and cats. I knew my cats would like her as she has a very calming and kind presence. Terry is a fantastic house and pet sitter. She looked after out big Queenslander house and garden, as well as our two big dogs, while we were on holidays for two weeks. When we returned the house was immaculately clean, the dogs calm and happy, and the garden looking lush and green. We cannot recommend Terry too highly: she was excellent. We would love to have Terry look after hour place and pets again.
Terry looked after our home and our elderly cat for a period of 5 weeks while we travelled Europe. Terry did a fabulous job - our house was in perfect shape when we returned and the cat had been very well cared for. Communication was great with Terry and she was happy to go the extra mile with our cat to ensure he stayed healthy while we were away.
I have no hesitation in recommending Terry as a housesitter and hope to be able to utilise her services again when we next travel.
Having never had a stranger stay in our house and look after our dog we were nervous placing the ad. Happily when Terry came over to meet us all we felt very at ease and this was solidified when she came to collect the keys the day before we left.

Terry was a great help for me as I travelled for work for a week. I have quite a few animals and she took all the jobs in her stride. She was easy to talk to and my animals were happy and relaxed with her. I would recommend Terry to look after yours.
Terry is a very caring sitter who looked after our blind, hearing impaired, elderly dachshund. Muddy requires twice daily medication and needs company. We came home to a very well cared for dog and home. I would be very happy to recommend Terry to other home owners and would love to have her sit for us again
Just wonderful to go away and have Terry looking after house and pouch. So nice to come home to spotless house. Our Hummer has gone into the sulks since Terry left he seems to think we should shower him with the same attention Well done Terry for coping with the unexpected visit from the carpet snake in the chicken feed shed.
