Rowena & Grant

We had Rowena and Grant take care of our home for three weeks in May/June 2023. Our home on one acre property with lawn, fruit trees, veggie beds, our MANY indoor plants, and our beloved kitty cat were all taken such good care of whilst we were away. Rowena and Grant looked after our place as though it were their own. Our cat was given so much love and attention that we now need to live up to his new expectations 😉 He’s certainly more affectionate now than before we left. Rowena and Grant ... Rowena and Grant went above and beyond, even weeding and mowing which we didn’t expect since it’s been rainy and wet weather. They communicated with us regularly when needed and our home was sparkling and tidy when we returned. We’d absolutely love to have them care for our home again next time we are away. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rowena and Grant are THE BEST!!! They looked after our house and pets for 2.5weeks and we’d highly recommend them. They took fabulous care of our 2 dogs, 2 cats, fish and plants. They bonded with our pets and took fabulous care of them. Our dogs had daily walks and lots of attention. The house was spotless on our return. We felt totally at ease knowing that Rowena and Grant were taking care of things while we were away. They are trust-worthy and reliable, and great with animals. They ... Rowena and Grant were superb. Their care of our house, dogs, chooks, pool and wild garden was first class. When they left, the place was spotless and everything was in its place. They are a delightful couple and we really enjoyed their company. We highly recommend them; the best house sitters one could wish for.

Absolutely excellent house sitters! Although only a fairly short sit, our 3 puppies (Jack Russell's), 2 horses and a 5 acre hobby farm require some specific attention. Communication while we were away was comforting, and we returned to a very clean and tidy house, clean paddocks, happy puppies and happy horses. The garden was also in great condition, with all of my newly planted seedlings powering along!. Can't ask for any more than that! Very happy with the sit and happy to have Rowena and ... I recommend Rowena and Grant to look after your furry family and house. The dogs and cats were chilled out and happy when we returned and the house was spotless. While it was only a short sit, I received regular communication and even photos of my happy pets.

Rowena and Grant looked after our house for a week.....they did an awesome job. Our home was looked after as if it was their own. Our dog was thoroughly spoilt and loved having them around. We would recommend Rowena and Grant to look after homes. We loved meeting them.

Where do I start; Rowena & Grant were absolutely fabulous housesitters. It felt like family were looking after our pets and home. I cant thank them enough! Always kept in contact on how everything was going. During the hottest Christmas in a very long time they regular watered the lawn and plants, often walked the dogs and kept them cool inside and the house was left immaculate. I would highly recommend Rowena & Grant as fabulous housesitters. Hope they can stay again.

Rowena & Grant house sat out home along with our dog Arlie and cat Tigger. Their communication was wonderful, keeping us up to date with how everything was going and ensured our pets were cared for with so much love. Arlie got up to two walks a day and I'm sure he misses them very much. Our home was immaculate when we arrived home snd Grant even fixed our front door for us. We highly recommend them and wish them all the best.

Rowena and Grant housesat for us and our two cats and dog in June. Their communication before, during and after the sit was amazing. Rowena and Grant were great housesitters. After meeting them we felt very comfortable to leave house, garden and cats with them. They did a perfect job and communicated regularly. They proved reliable and flexible even in extraordinary conditions (cyclone and lockdown). We hope they are available when we next go on holiday.

Rowena and Grant looked after our 2 German shepherd and 2 cats so well. I could leave even my dog who needed medical care in their hands and everything went smoothly! They also looked after the house so well and everything was super tidy. I came back to happy animals and as they can stress easily with a change of person or routine this makes me know they had a great time with them too! I had lovely reports from the pool shop where the water was tested and that was another job that they did well. So if you are looking for those perfect housesitters these guys are it.

Rowena and Grant were a very easy couple to get on with! I very much appreciated their flexibility, as my plans chopped and changed, and they slotted into housesitter mode as required. I came home to find the many acres of lawn beautifully mown, the cats happy and content and my small herd of cows drinking water from sparkling clean water troughs!! I have no hesitation in recommending this bubbly couple to future hosts. They are a real delight.

What a delight this couple are! With a wealth of life experience themselves, after chatting, we felt very comfortable leaving them to it. Our holiday was dotted with timely updates on our pets (2 orientals) who adored this lovely couple from the outset and looked miffed at having to farewell their new playmates! Came home to an immaculate, clean home - they'd even washed the sheets, cleared the deck, and welcomed us back with a lovely red (thanks guys!). Highly recommended!

Rowena and Grant are super friendly and lovely people. They communicated with me so well and even came a day early to do a hand over. They looked after our house and two dogs so beautifully. There were no problems and the house was left super clean. I would recommend them for anyone and would have them back again.

Rowena and Grant are an easy going, adventurous and responsible couple and a couple we could easily see ourselves being friends with. Rowena had a similar background to us with experience in looking after multiple animals (2 dogs and 3 cats - same as ... Rowena had a similar background to us with experience in looking after multiple animals (2 dogs and 3 cats - same as our fur family), administering medication to pets and looking after properties. As property owners themselves they had a great appreciation of what's involved in maintaining property and we came home to an immaculately clean house and thriving plants - Grant even fixed our leaky bbq while we were away. Rowena and Grant's communication was excellent from the start, always responding promptly to emails and messages and they even arranged a skype call to "meet" us as they were travelling through South America at the time of first contact. They also rearranged their travel plans in early December to come and meet us in person. They were super flexible which was great as we needed to access the house after the first week to drop off our dogs and re-pack for a different trip, so that was greatly appreciated. It wasn't all smooth sailing as our cats are early risers, one of which is on daily medication and our 9 month puppy, Allie, is very timid around strangers and highly anxious when left alone and she had never been left for more than 2 nights before. She was struggling with us being away and chewed our sofa, stairs and furniture which must have been very distressing for Rowena and Grant to come home to. They contacted us immediately and we tried to work through a solution. In the end with Rowena and Grant's patience and small steps Allie came around and we returned home to find a very happy puppy showing both of them great affection which was wonderful to see. The other pets were all happy and relaxed too. We would highly recommend Rowena and Grant as house and pet sitters and would gladly provide references if required.

Thank you so much Grant and Rowena for looking after everything whilst we were away. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever from us just a shame we didn't get to meet you...maybe next time???
