Neil & Emma

Neil & Emma are looking for an extended long term house-sit. Experienced house sitters, pet minders and pool carers. Non-smokers. Presently in Eumundi, (Qld). Preference area from Caloundra to Noosa and Hinterland.

Emma..... I have since my early retirement (Admin. Officer, tertiary institution), cared for homes in various locations in Qld., Tas., Vic., and N.S.W. for short and long periods. I am a single female, fit and healthy, non-smoker and clean living. I enjoy the company of animals and love the outdoors. I have my own car.

Neil.... Since taking voluntary early retirement from my position of technical officer with a tertiary institution, I have been house sitting both city and rural properties, one being for 3 years on a vineyard in Western Victoria (refer above photo) looking after two Border Collies along with the usual watering, mowing and basic maintenance around the property. In the final summer I had also taken on the watering of the vineyard. The following eight months were spent house sitting a 4 bedroom home (with pool) near the town of Temora in the Riverina region of NSW. Since Temora, house sits (as listed below) have extended from N.W. Sydney (Galston & Berowra Waters) to Rockhampton, Central Queensland. These have been interesting times:- charged by a bull (the"matador" ran for it), playfully nipped by a horse (If bitten, I wouldn't have been able to sit down for a week) and the "water access-only" left me with one foot on a dock and one in a boat with the gap between widening (not funny!)

Neil and Emma's past house-sits have been - Scarborough, Newport, Bulimba (3 times), Douglas, Blanchview (Toowoomba), Pullenvale (Bris), Bli Bli, Coolum Beach, Crows Nest (Qld), Toowoomba, Bribie Island, Caloundra (Sunshine Coast), Moorooka (Brisbane), Galston & Berowra Waters (NW Sydney) (BW being water access only), Rockhampton, Caloundra (3 times), Bargara and Avoca (Bundaberg), Coombabah (Gold Coast), Moffat Beach (8 times), Raby Bay (5 times), Robina ( 8 times), Holland Park West (7 times), Toowoomba, Cootharaba (Nth of Noosa) , Eagleby (7 times), Southport, Bribie Island, Wynnum, Manly (twice ), Gatton, Ballard (Toowoomba), Peregian Springs, Buderim, Beerwah, Beenleigh, Tewantin, Currumbin Valley; - NORTHERN NSW - Tweed Heads, Eltham Valley, Crystal Creek, Marrom Creek. VIC. 19km south of Ararat. We have looked after Border Collies, Red Heelers, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Schnauzers, Beagles, Jack Russells, Labradors, Fox terriers, poodles + 47 Heinz varieties, cats (plain old mogs to pedigree), horses, a duck, fish, cattle, goats (other than myself) and birds (of the feathered variety)


Preferred Locations: Caloundra to Noosa and hinterland .
