Elaine & Rowena

Hello! I am a retired UK trained Nursery Nurse, having emigrated to Australia forty years ago. I have four adult children and one delightful granddaughter. I have worked in many childcare situations, most recently as a nanny/housekeeper but now retired.

My first house sit was July/August 2018 in Queensland which I absolutely loved! I cared for wildlife and pet geese on 100 acres. Driving the JD Gator was lots of fun. I have looked after small and large dogs, cats and chickens at my last few house sits.

I am very flexible, self sufficient and dependable. I like keeping things neat, clean and tidy. I am an animal lover but unfortunately unable to have pets at the moment. I also have a strong interest in wildlife, photography and exploring new places. I'm lucky to live by the beach and walk every day.

I love spending time with my family especially my 9 year old granddaughter who now lives 1000kms away. I also enjoy driving and am a volunteer driver taking cancer patients to their appointments. I still look after children occasionally a few hours a week too.

I will love and care for your fur babies and home with love, respect, understanding and enthusiasm!

Recently my daughter Rowena has joined me when she is free. She is 35 and has mild Autism. She absolutely loves interacting and playing with dogs and cats and falls in love with all of them.
