I have owned myself & loved and looked after other peoples dogs cats birds & fish. Janine was efficient and easy to communicate with. We only met her for 3/4 of an hour before we left on our getaway which I must admit initially I was not sure about. However we left feeling quite comfortable about leaving Maggie and our home in her experienced and kind hands. We came home to one very happy Maggie and a very clean and tidy home, linen washed and on the line. Other than the washing on the line we couldn't see that any one had been here for 5 days!

It can be a nervous and anxious period having a "stranger" care for your home and pets but we felt very comfortable with ... While we were away Janine kept in contact so that we knew all was well with the pets and the house. She quickly developed a very close bond with our dog who also really enjoyed her company. Even though there was an unusual heat wave in Port Macquarie we did not lose any plants or have any issues in our garden due to the nurturing from Janine. She would probably agree she is not an expert with regards pool maintenance however Janine certainly had the water looking crystal clear when we returned. The whole house was kept very clean, neat and tidy and looking just like we left it. As it was late in the evening when we returned it was also very thoughtful of Janine to have some basic food supplies (including a chilled wine) when we returned.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Janine to any future housesitting role she might apply for. We have certainly found her to be a very caring, responsible and honest person and would certainly have her back to look after our home again (if she is available!!).
