Greetings,
My name is Jo and I'm a mature professional female working in the Payroll Management field for the last 30 years.
I have done a number of house sits in the Queensland and Melbourne ranging from 1 week to 10 months (please see reference on my profile).
I am very comfortable with all dogs, cats, birds, fish and chickens and I am experienced taking care of a large properties where garden maintenance is required. This includes looking after a property of nearly an acre, with fruit trees, gardens and a large lawn which required weekly mowing (ride on lawnmower), pruning and weeding etc. I'm also comfortable with pool and spa maintenance.
I'm also extremely clean (OCD) and will take care of your property and fur babies as if they were my own.
Please note I've haven't done any housesitting recently as I have been living in Canada but returning to Australia at the end of March 2024

No rating Thank you Jo for looking after our home and two dogs. Of course she kept the house tidy and the dogs alive (haha). But what I loved the most was her flexibility. She came by our home twice beforehand to meet us and our needy dogs, so that was very comforting for us. Thanks again, Jo!

Jo house sat for me weekend in March 2021, Jo was more than excellent, my dogs loved her and were very well looked after. Certainly a stressless time for all. My house was tidy and neat and my dogs were very happy. I will definitely call on Jo again, she is very friendly, personable and reliable.

We felt really comfortable with Jo as soon as we met her, the pups were all over her at the initial visit too, so that was a deal-breaker. Throughout our holiday, we received regular updates on our fur babies with photos, they were certainly in good hands!! It was awesome that Jo worked from home too, one of our Staffies gets a bit of anxiety so it was reassuring that she was home often. We would definitely get Jo back, returning to a clean home was so nice after 3 weeks away! ... MORE

Jo did an awesome job taking care of Cookie for the week. Cookie was very calm and relaxed when we got back from our holiday as she got lots of pampering and cuddles from Jo. Jo made sure to keep us updated of Cookie at all times and we even received a few pics which is always reassuring to know that your 4 legged friend is well looked after. She also took great care of our house and everything was spec cleaned on our return.

Jo ensured our home and our spoiled pooch were treated with respect and love. We would highly recommend Jo as she left our home cleaner than we did!
