Hi, I am a Professional Housesitter based in Newcastle, NSW. I am retired & have been Housesitting for well over 15 years and have extensive experience with all kinds of animals, from Alpacas to Turtles.

I am very active and just love to be around animals, especially dog's. I also enjoy walking, gardening, pool maintenance and general cleaning, to the extent my son calls me a "clean freak".

I specialise in the precious, anxious & Furbabies with medical conditions. I can also provide some basic training requirements, if needed.

I have completed the National Crime History Check, am Covid vaxed and can provide references from my wide range of Clients .

Helen did an awesome job caring for our two dogs and our home. We couldn’t have wished for a more dedicated or professional sitter. One of our dogs had a large cyst on her back which burst while we were away and Helen bathed and medicated it like a pro and sent photos and updates to keep us from worrying. Having Helen to housesit was the best decision ever! It was our first experience of housesitting and Helen was professional, friendly and very very helpful. She came to meet me and my needy big dog and there was instant connection between us all. During our trip away, Helen sent us photos and videos of our very happy and spoiled dog. Helen is amazing. Once we had been in touch we had a meet and greet and immediately our two dachshunds liked her. She looked after our house and doggies for a two week period, sending updates and photos during that time. When we arrived home, the house was beautifully clean, fresh flowers out of the garden and the dogs super happy and well cared for. I would highly recommend Helen!!!

Helen was an absolutely wonderful pet and house sitter. We felt very comfortable with her when we met and confident our fur babies and house would be in capable hands while we were away and we were right. Helen was absolutely wonderful. Our home was emaculate when we arrived home, super clean and ordered. Our girl was very well looked after and enjoyed her walks. Because it rained there was no need for watering the garden. We would be very happy to have her back for our next trip.

Helen did an amazing job looking after our dog, horses and property while we were away for 4 weeks. The animals just loved her and we felt very reassured leaving them in her capable hands. OMG Helen was amazing. My home was spotlessly clean. The huskies and Popcorn the guinea pig were all happy and healthy. Helen sent photos while on our trip and asked questions to make sure our pets were in their comfort zone. I would highly recommend Helen, that much so, I asked if she could mind our home and pets again for our next trip to Tassie.

Helen was a great house sitter who took extra care of our dogs with walks on the beach (which they loved). Helen also went above the line by cleaning the house to an immaculate standard, including cleaning the inside of the fridge and leaving us with some special treats which made our return home very relaxing. If you get a chance to have Helen pet, or house keep you'll be very impressed. We can't wait to have here back.

Helen was the house sitter we could only have dreamed of! She was so organised, and communicated with us so well. Our two dogs were so comfortable with her and clearly well looked after. We came home to an absolutely immaculate house, which made returning from a trip with a baby even more easy and calm. We cannot recommend Helen enough if you're after the best house/pet sitter whilst you're away!
