37, On sabbatical

I've recently finished a PhD at the University of Tasmania and I'm now taking a deserved break: a road trip across Australia for two years . I want to combine my travels with housesitting because I can visit the area where I'm housesitting more deeply. Due to the sabbatical nature of my trip, I have flexibility, so I can adapt to house owners' start and end dates or other arrangements that may suit you.

Darius is a very dilgent house sitter. He looked after our dog Splash like it was his dog. When we came home the house looked better when we left.. He even cleaned the linen cupboard! The pool has been kept amazing despite all the hot and wet weather. We would recemmend Darius as a wonderful house sitter.

Between my friend and I we have 4 dogs. 1 Cavoodle and 3 Jack Russels. For most people that would be a bit daunting but on first chat with Darius it didn't faze him at all. He was friendly, had all the right reviews and kept communicating with us up to the day the job started. This did not stop. Darius had gone over and above my expectations from a house sitter. He is easy to talk to, didn't mind cleaning and watering the garden. House was spotless and the garden in bloom (even though Adelaide was in high 30C). I highly recommend Darius to take care of your house, garden and most of all your pets. Safe travels my friend.

Darius was great, everything went really smoothly from our initial pre-stay chats, to handover, to handback. Darius struck a good balance between making looking after our dog a priority (company, walks, social engagement) and sightseeing during this long stay, and keep us well informed with responsive comms throughout. We highly recommend Darius as a house-sitter. He won't let you down. He is reliable, very clean, a great communicator and goes beyond ordinary expectations to be helpful. In addition to our two worm farms, all our (many) indoor and outdoor plants were in great shape after a 5 week absence. The house was spotless and he even volunteered to extend his house care duties for a week after he had moved out to another house-sit on the outer fringes of Melbourne as we had been delayed by covid. ... Dario did an outstanding job house sitting my home. He went far and beyond the course of duty. My cats were well looked after during his stay and warmed to Dario. On returning home the house was immaculate, a meal awaited and the fridge and pantry both well stocked. Dario also took time to undergo some house maintenance during his stay. In summation, I could not give Dario a higher rating.- 5 stars all the way. I will definitely be looking to utilise Dario's skills again in the near future.

Dario is a very reliable house sitter. He was excellent with our dog Tex. Dario took him for regular walks, cooked for him and gave lots of affection. He kept both the house and the gardens better than I ever expected. He did more than we had asked and took an amazing care of everything. Any body would lucky to have Dario as their house sitter.
