Love your home, pets n garden
I have a social conscience and concern for the environment enjoying making a difference and contribution to the sort of world I want to live in. I have been a teacher and a nurse, but in recent years I have worked as an Ephemeral Public Artist using art as a means to bring people together and connect to the place where they live in large and small scale community projects.
Travel is another love and I have lived, worked and travelled all around Australia with adventures overseas and thrilled by the opportunity to have explored beautiful New Zealand for two and a half years while housesitting suburban, rural and lifestyle properties. I am currently in Tassie and have been here for 5 years.
I am a creative person, enjoy being physically active, hands-on and also enjoy the peace and serenity of quiet times. Mature and responsible, fond of all animals, but I am a total dog lover with a desire to bring you peace of mind caring for your home, pets and garden while you are away. I have a current Police Certificate, happy to forward references on request, am a non-smoker and have my own vehicle. I look forward to hearing from you.

Yes very happy with the attention that our two boys had while we enjoyed our holiday.
We were very pleased and relieved to know that the boys were very relaxed and very much loved by Sue. She is clearly an animal lover. We were pleased to receive regular updates and pics from home.

Sue was absolutely amazing, could not recommend her enough! She took great care of our special greyhound and our home for three weeks whilst we were away. Sue was committed to understanding our dogs needs and quirks in the lead up to the stay, and we were left feeling reassured and confident the whole time. Would highly recommend Sue for your next house sit. She lovingly looked after our Aussie Terrier and blue tongue lizard. During our week away Sue stayed at our property and watered the large garden and cared for our chickens. The chickens were escape artists and Sue managed the situation extremely well and appeared to be stress free with their antics. We assured her that as long as there was a head count in the morning all was well. When we arrived home Sue had already vacated the property and everything was in order. Communication with Sue was excellent and I felt like she could deal with any situation that may ... Sue cared for our two cocker spaniels for four weeks, the older girl needed ear drops daily which Sue had no issues with administering. We came back to a clean and tidy house and two spoilt little girls who missed Sue when she had left, looking around the house for her. We would highly recommend Sue as a pet and house sitter.

Sue came at a much earlier date due to corona virus. What a fabulous find Sue turned out to be. She was happy to adapt to all the Issues surrounding the pandemic by coming in early and staying longer than our original agreed dates. Chilli had a fabulous time and I'm sure will be super disappointed that sue isn't going to live here with her forever. My goats had a super mum and my chickens that come and go stayed more often than not. My home was well looked after and the gardens under control on ... Sue is a lovely woman, easy to communicate with and was a wonderful animal /house sitter. Our house was immaculate on our return and she obviously formed a strong bond with Billie our Kelpie.
In fact Billie was totally spoilt and I think would have been happy to go with Sue when she left :)

Sue has great communication skills and from our first conversation I felt at ease.Sue was left to care for our cat and did a great job we had regular updates to keep us in touch with our fur baby. Our home was left in great condition and we would recommend her to anyone.

Sue was a great house sitter who looked after our 3 cats, 2 dogs, 10 chickens, 3 ducks and 1 pig. She was a delightful person and the animals absolutely loved her. Sue had a couple of unexpected challenges come up while we were away such as people turning up unexpectedly to slash and bale the paddocks and a huge lightning storm that started bushfires in the forest nearby. She kept us informed of all of this and assuaged our worries. The house was looked after immaculately and was cleaner ... MORESue was a great house sitter who looked after our 3 cats, 2 dogs, 10 chickens, 3 ducks and 1 pig. She was a delightful person and the animals absolutely loved her.
