In 2016 we sold our home in Kingscliff, purchased a caravan and hit the road. We have done a mix of hobby farm sits, house & pet sits being more than 30 to date.
Bruce is a dentist so he does locum work as we go all over Australia. He was also a jackaroo back in his 20's.
I was a primary school teacher and this helps to gain work with families. Also a permanent rental and holiday Property Manager for LJHooker both in Canberra then Kingscliff.
We're parents of 5 between us and grandparents to 8. Our grandkids are based in Canberra and Hervey Bay.
Pets are a bonus as I miss not having them with me. I was a volunteer puppy educator for Assistance Dogs Australia. Both Bruce and myself have grown up surrounded by pets and have had dogs/cats/fish/chooks throughout our adult lives. We enjoy having a variety of animals. Pool maintenance is easy as we had a large in-ground pool. Lawn maintenance easy too. Able to use ride ons.
Leaving your home and it's occupants in our care is the best decision you could make. We make daily contact with photo’s and video’s or less often if you wish. Homeowner’s often comment that the house was cleaner than when they left and sometime’s their pets, dogs, are better behaved.

Louise and Bruce looked after our house and 2 acre garden for 8 weeks. Watering plants and mowing. Succeeding in keeping everything alive in a heat wave of 44 o temps! Came back to a spotless house and everything so neat and tidy . Good communication over the period. Capably fixed a couple of minor maintenance problems that occurred No hesitation in recommending this couple to take care of your property. Would have them back anytime .

Being my first house sitter experience I was naturally nervous about having strangers in my home looking after our cat, Jerry. I felt comfortable with Louise and Bruce from their profile, and upon meeting them was immediately relaxed. They are warm and friendly and sent me regular photos and videos of Jerry being Jerry. Louise and Bruce answered our sitting job at quite short notice. They looked after our small hobby farm for a week. They cared for our dog, cat, goldfish, 5 pigs and 2 sheep. It is an absolute pleasure to write an endorsement for Bruce and Louise. We left our 30 acre hobby farm for a month and came back to extremely well cared for animals and the farm property looking better than when we had left it! Bruce fixed the road fence which our dog kept escaping through, our goats kidded and our doe and babies were ooked after with fresh water and clean bedding.
