Laz and Suzie

47, Gardener/Assistant nurse

47, Engineering/Utilities Manager, Mechanic, Water treatment operator

Late 2016 we left our jobs on the beautiful Hayman island in the Whitsundays. After Living and working on the five star resort for four years we started full time traveling around Australia.
Returning to Hayman after our first lap to help out with Cyclone Debbie's' destruction.

We are now on the road again! Heading to Tazzy for a few months Dec-march 2020

We're clean, tidy, quiet, reliable people that will look after your property as if it were our own. We will leave it looking five stars.
We have our own self contained caravan and are happy to go off grid for as long as needed. Unless you require us to stay in your home our preference is to stay in our caravan.

Our van and ute combined length is around 11 meters. A property and driveway that can accommodate that would be our preference.

Previous Farm Sits ...
Having no pets of our own, we are more then happy to take care of your little ones OR big ones.

We have previous experience farm sitting. For example, moving and feeding horses, looking after chickens, cats and dogs. Also watering, mowing, fixing water pipes and knocking up a trellis and door.
"Please feel free to read our endorsements"

We have spent over three months on a cattle station in WA. Larry was a Bore runner/ mechanic/RO operator

We have a preference for farms or house sits that are more rural.

Larry, a qualified Mechanic for over 30 yrs, was most recently the Engineering/Utilities Manager of Hayman Island.
Laz can put his mind and skills to any task he is given and loves a new challenge. Previously building his own Trike and Hovercraft from scratch. More recently making our van fully off grid and in to a tech smart home.
As the Utilities manager Larry was operator and manager of:
Power, in the form of generators
Drinking Water from the R/O plant
Sewage treatment plant
Garbage
Mechanic
Fitter and welder.

Sue has worked in:
Resort landscaping
Hotel laundry
House keeping
Reception
Retail
Assistant nurse, in age care and disabilities, for over 14 years.

Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sue and Larry were fantastic sitters for us. They were super friendly, honest and very genuine couple. Communication was spot on making arrival to the property easy and punctual . Our animals were well cared for, cuddled and loved and the property safe and secure. Knowing we had professional and loving sitters at our property gave me peace of mind on holiday. We enjoyed drinks around the fire pit with Sue and Larry on their last night with us, it was sad to see them go. I thoroughly recommend ... MORE

LYSA (Image Flat, Sunshine Coast QLD, Jun 2019 - 2 weeks)
No rating Sue and Larry are excellent sitters. They arrived when they said, did all the tasks asked and left the house spotless. They are a cheerful couple whom we recommend highly to others as house sitters
GLENDA (Huon VIC, Mar 2017 - 6 days)
No rating we were very worried at first as we hadn't used anything like this before, but after meting Larry & Sue, all our worries disappeared, they are such caring honest people we felt totally happy leaving our babies in their care. everything was done properly and without any issues, we totally recommend theses two lovely people to anyone wishes to take a break and leave their babies behind. If we travel away again we would get theses two guys back in a heart beat to farm sit.
MARIE (Lake Bathurst NSW, Feb 2017 - 1 week)
No rating Sue and Larry were fantastic house/farm sitters, and I have no hesitation in recommending them! They are a lovely couple - cheerful and obliging - and Larry is the original "Jack of all Trades" who is able to fix most things that can and do go wrong on a farm. This was their first house sit and we met as total strangers and parted, I feel, as good friends, and I certainly wish them all the best in their travels.
