Hello,

We are Kristy and Leon, newly married. I'm Australian, originally from Adelaide but moved to Melbourne for uni and stayed for work. Leon is German and we met in Berlin as we were neighbours :).

We live half the time in Berlin and half in Melbourne as my job is here. I'm a paramedic and I work casually so I just accept whichever shifts are appropriate for my living situation. Leon is a software engineer and works from home so anyone with anxious pets needn't worry that they'll be alone for too long.

We don't have anywhere to stay in Melbourne as we've not been lucky enough to enter the buying market yet. In order to not pay rent in 2 cities at a time while only living in 1 we rely on the kindness of people on this platform to invite us to stay in their home.

We are both experienced with dogs having grown up with them, and I also grew up with cats (though I'd say I'm a dog person, I do like cats).

I dearly miss my little dog who died a few years ago at 18 years old and would love the opportunity to spend some time with dogs again.

We also have previous experience house sitting and we would, of course, take good care of your home should you choose us.

Kristy and Leon were a fantastic help to me when looking after my house and my beautiful cat Lenni. The were a few occasions where I had to change my return date. They were so flexible and accomodating and really helped me out in a difficult situation, I really cannot thank them enough. They keep in regular communication and Lenni looked very chilled and relaxed in their company. Kristy and Leon were good house sitters and looked after Scooby very well indeed. Communication was great and I felt confident leaving my home and pet in their capable hands. I'd easily recommend them to anyone needing sitters in the future and I hope they will come and sit Scooby again in the future!

Kristy and Leon were great pet and house sitters. They sensible and communicative. This was our first time leaving our pup with house sitters and we were very nervous about how she would cope. When we arrived home she was happy and settled so we were very grateful to Kristy and Leon for looking after her so well. The house was also in very good order. Kristy and Leon kept us in the loop with how our puppy was going which was a big relief.
