Hi, my husband and I are active, non smoking, honest and reliable retirees, who love travelling and visiting new places. We have extensive experience with many animals and have owned and cared for; dogs (big and small) cats, horses, sheep, goats, cows, donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, birds, snakes, fish, guinea pigs and rabbits (when living in NSW). We are able to house sit either as a couple or independently. We have a love of both the coastal lifestyle and country living, having lived on a small acreage in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland for 20 years. We are caring and trustworthy and would treat both your animals and home as if they were our own. We are Covid free and have not been outside Qld within the last 18 months. Kathy and Kev were the dream house sitters. It was as if we had known each other for years! They are lovely people and so caring and understanding of the animals, treating them as if they were their own. They arrived the day before we were to leave which gave us time to go through the routines for everyone. We had a great night together, heaps of laughs and stories! Kathy is a wonderful house-sitter. She bonded immediately with our very precious cat Ughy, when she visited the house for a briefing, before commencing the house-sit. I felt at ease with her as soon as I met her - her thoughtfulness, kindness to Ughy and happy manner were evident at that first meeting. Kathy went above and beyond what was required for the week we were away in Cairns. We run a B&B in the Noosa Hinterland, although we had cleaners arranged, Kathy took it upon her self to roll up her sleeves and got involved which was very appreciated. We had some challenging guests but Kathy won them over with her charm & a can do attitude. Attention to detail, happy cats, happy chooks, happy guests. What more would you want.... Big Thank you! No rating Kathy house/cat sat for us for 4 days I felt comfortable with her both on the phone and in person. She took excellent care of our two indoor Ragdolls and our house. The cats required extra attention which Kathy took on well. Our timid cat warmed to Kathy quickly and was very content with a stranger in the house. Kathy communicated well with us before, during and after the housesit. I'd highly recommend Kathy as a house/pet sitter.
