We are a fit and active older couple who love travel and new adventures. We are both triple vaccinated. Gordon is in his mid 60's and recently retired. Karen is in her 50's and works from home. This means that we are available during the day to give your animals all the love and attention that they need. We have been house sitting full time for 7 years now and have families who regularly invite us back to look after their animals and homes. We have experience in looking after a huge variety of animals including larger farm animals and aim to keep their routines identical to when you are home with them. We also ensure that on your return you find your home in an immaculate condition and are comfortable in the knowledge that it has been looking after with love and respect.
We are available for long and short stays Australia wide.

We met Kaz and Gordy via Zoom prior to the house sit and they were able to arrive the night before for a full handover. Right from the start we clicked and the communication was excellent. We felt very relaxed and confident in leaving our little patch and the menagerie in their capable hands. This confidence was warranted. Karen and Gordon were ideal sitters. We met before confirming the sit and from then on communication was excellent. My dogs, house and garden were all given the utmost care. As I have a pool they were able to have their family visit for a swim. If all house sitters are of this calibre I'm pleased I joined Aussie House Sitters. Thanks Karen and Gordon The house was spotless on my return and Karen left a lovely quiche for my first night home.

Karen and Gordon were lovely house sitters. From the moment they replied to my ad to the end of the house sit the communication was great. We received lots of photos and updates during our stay to keep our mind at ease. When we got home the house was clean, my many plants looking healthy and we had some soup in the fridge which was most appreciated. Would highly recommend Karen and Gordon as housesitters.

Karen and Gordon were perfect for our house sit in Surrey Hills VIC. They communicated very clearly and came to meet us prior to the house sit. We were very reassured that our old dog Tilly was very well cared for especially as she has additional medical needs. Our home was also well cared for.

We were so happy knowing our home, garden and pets were in Karen and Gordon's capable hands! We were overseas which meant we were very far away and a bit nervous, but they were great at keeping in touch and updating us (pictures included). They took the dogs on adventures and even dropped them off and picked them up from a grooming appointment! Karen and Gorden are a really lovely couple, they arrived in my town the day before I was to leave and came and met myself and Stan, which was great. The day I was leaving Gorden drove me to the bus that was taking me to the Airport, and waited till I was safely on the bus. They sent me lots of photos and videos of Stan and kept in touch with me on a regular basis. Karen & Gordon were brilliant from start to finish. Our dog Koco loved them immediately. They provided Photos of Koco while we were away, gave above & beyond house & garden care, our house was immaculate upon our return, (better than we left it!) and there was a pre-cooked meal waiting for us in the fridge (we've never had that before ever!!) Best of all we returned to a very happy & relaxed dog who had had heaps of great walking with Gordon daily. Highly recommended.

Gordon and Karen took care of my dog Jess for 17 days. They visited Jess and me beforehand and Gordon came and walked Jess twice before the actual sit so he and Jess were comfortable with each other. Communication was prompt and when I returned, Jess was very happy and the house was spotless. I would be very happy to use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them to other homeowners.

Karen and Gordon house and dog sat for us recently. The communication was very good and Gordon visited several times so that we got to know him and so did the dogs. They were very respectful of our place. The dogs were well cared for and happy when we got back. The garden was very healthy and tidy and had obviously been worked on. All in all I would definitely recommend them.

Karen and Gordon are absolutely fantastic house sitters. You want them in your home! They looked after my home with great respect, were fantastic with my cats, were prompt communicators, left Christmas gifts for me and my children, including homemade Christmas decorations and Karen left a freshly baked Quiche for us on our return home!!! They were wonderful, you couldn't get nicer people staying in your home, my house felt fantastic to return to. Thank you so much Karen and Gordon!!!!!
