Hi there! My name is Jess! I am 31 years old, and full-time housesitter!

I am in my final year of a Naturopathy degree and also a qualified Nutritionist. I work locally in Mornington, only 2 days a week for 5 hours at a time, which means I am at home studying/working from home majority of the time - so plenty of time to spend with the pets and make sure their needs are met/have lots of company! :)

I am a trustworthy, fit, friendly, clean and responsible sitter that knows the importance of trusting your home and beloved pets to someone that would love and care for them as much as you do.

I have been housesitting for 2 years while I finish my studies around areas of the peninsula and sometimes in Melbourne, and I love it!! I have many endorsements and recommendations I am happy to share. It is the best outcome for me as I get to experience different areas, meet new animals and new people while I finish my studies. This allows me to work less and not have to worry about living expenses and therefore be able to focus on finishing my degree (its a very intense degree!!).

It's also a great outcome for the owners when they go on holidays as the pets get to stay in their home in a loving and safe environment, and owners can return to healthy happy, well cared for pets. I also have had several repeat happy owners re-book me to sit for them - so far this year I've had 4 owners rebook, and often more requests than I am able to fill!

I like to keep things very clean and tidy, and I am very respectful of your space/privacy. I live a healthy, active lifestyle, I rarely have alcohol, I don't smoke either. I am up early in the morning for sunrise and to bed early also, so there will certainly not be any parties or late nights while staying at your property! I also love animals and caring for pets, so their wellbeing is my top priority. Being a dog owner myself, I understand the difficulty in leaving your beloved pets behind as you venture off on holidays, and leaving them with a potential stranger. Its brings me great pleasure to be able to have you feel reassured and comforted that your pets will be well-cared for and happy in your absence. I love taking them out for walks, giving lots of pats and cuddling up on the couch. If they are used to sleeping in the bed that is also okay too. I pride myself on forming connections/bonding well with the pets I sit for. I often get told upon first meeting the pets "wow, they definitely like you and they are so comfortable with you already!"
