James & Heather

This was our first Aussie House Sitters experience and I think we hit the jackpot with Jim and Heather. They were wonderful and we could not have asked for any better. Our fur baby was very spoilt with love and care and so was our home. Making our holiday feel so relaxing. We even returned home to a beautiful meal and great company with our sitters. Heather & Jim were excellent housesitters. Our two doggos got lots of walks & love we could tell how relaxed they were from their photos and how calm they were when we got home.. Our house was spotless clean when we came home. Jim even mowed the lawn, they took impeccable care of our lawns/garden & yard. We can't thank them enough for every last thing they did whilst caring for our dogs. Highly recommend 💗

We were very lucky to have James and Heather come to care for our pets and home in January 2023. We were totally confident that they were in the best hands possible. While we were holidaying, our dogs, Lola and Milo had a wonderful time with lots of walks and affection. Our cat was content. My flights were delayed coming home and while this was a big stress for me, Heather was reassuring and we were fortunate they could stay a couple of days extra. While the pets were happy to see us home, they were very calm as they had been enjoying themselves as much as we had. The house was spotless - better than we had left it. We recommend Heather and James and are so grateful. We wish them safe travels and hope they'll consider coming back to sit again in the future.

James and Heather were amazing to deal with. They came to meet us and our dogs prior to the house sit which was very reassuring. The house was so clean and tidy when we got home from our holiday. James and mowed the lawn and Heather has left us a very delicious potato bake in the fridge for our dinner. They took such amazing care of our two dogs I think they were sad to see them go. Heather and James are fabulous sitters and right from the first meeting our big sooky boy Cammo was right at home with them. They took Cammo for lots of walks and obviously spent plenty of time with him and kept him happy. They kept us up to date during our holiday and we arrived home to a lovely dinner all ready. Heather and Jim are a genuine, relaxed and reliable couple and we will ask them back to sit again.

Heather and Jim are amazing sitters. Our primary concern was for our very spoilt indoor Labrador and we left him in very capable hands. He was walked, swam and had lots of games. The only down side is that they are not available for our next trip, as they are having a well earned trip of their own. Heather kept in touch throughout our time away and our dog obviously loved them both. You can tell they spent time with him. Our home was immaculate when we returned, with nothing out of place. ... What a pleasure to come home to an immaculate house , the aroma of a meal in the slow cooker (and even a jelly as I had mentioned husband was having a procedure tomorrow!!!! Very thoughtful! ) James and Heather kept in touch before the sit and out my mind at rest as our Molly dog is on medication and quite elderly now. I was reluctant to leave her but had appointments in Brisbane. Regular updates assured me she was being spoiled and doing well! Everything was perfect I highly recommend James ... To Whom It May Concern, Upon a three week family vacation we had the pleasure of Jim and Heather care taking our property. As part of there formal duties, there was general upkeep of our property, whilst also the caretaking of our farm animals. This included a range of animals, from our three dogs, five sheep, alpaca, and 15 plus chickens. To return home from holiday's and have the opportunity to settle straight back from holiday mode to work mode with no fuss was truly unbelievable. Also the care of a freshly cooked meal from Heather was nothing past amazing. We would love to have Heather and Jim to return to our farm in the future. We consider ourselves very blessed to have found Jim and Heather to housesit for five weeks. We are extremely happy with the way Jim and Heather cared for our home and our two dogs, Bentley and Bella while we were away. They were happy to arrive a couple of days early so everything could be explained. They are a delight and very easy to communicate with and kept us updated with photos, videos and messages as to what was happening at home. Jim even undertook to reseal the sink in the kitchen which was a lovely surprise to come back to. Jim and Heather are true animal lovers, who cared for our two dogs as if they were their own. They took our dogs for daily walks to the beach which the dogs loved as we don't have the time to do this on a daily basis. The dogs enjoyed their company and will miss Jim's company on the beach. We returned home to a house, garden and verandah that was cleaner than we'd left it and even the lawn that has struggled through lack of rain was mowed and looked very neat. Heather had cooked us a delicious meal - dinner and dessert, as they told us of their experiences with our dogs while we were away. Both Jim and Heather are house proud and treated our house with the love and care that they devoted to their own home. They are both delightful people and immaculately clean and tidy. We had a sense of peace when we left to go on holiday leaving the care of our dogs and home with them and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting the best love and care for their pets, and are very happy to provide a reference if required Thank you, so much Jim and Heather Chris and Brenton xx

Heather and Jim were everything you could wish for when leaving your pets, garden and home. They were a lovely caring couple who loved the pets taking them for walks on the beach each day. The house was spotless on my return and the garden well looked after and watered. I can not recommend them highly enough and hope they will return to do future house sits. My little dogs were so sad when they left. Thank you again.
