Tish: Retired. Grey nomad

We own a home in Nelson, New Zealand, which is rented while we travel in our motor home. We choose to avoid our winter and come to Northern Australia for the warmer weather.

We are young retirees and are both fit and active. We have had dogs and cats for most of our lives and love both. We choose not to have pets at present due to our lifestyle. We are from small town/rural backgrounds and therefore adaptable and resourceful.

Ross has a technical background and for a short while also owned a pool maintenance business while Tish has been in the hospitality industry. We are houseproud and enjoy gardening
We have a clean Police report and we are both non smokers.

We returned to Australia in June 2023 and intend visiting family in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, before exploring Queensland over the next 6 months. Exact itinerary not yet finalised but are heading south from Townsville to Northern NSW from August to end of October

Ross and Tish .... I can only speak in superlatives! Their stay in our home was an example of a mutually positive Aussie Housesitters experience. It was obvious they had attended, with some devotion, humour and persistence to the needs of our adorable but determined little dog Jack and our 3 chooks were back in the lay when we returned from a month overseas. It's not possible to give more than 5 stars on here so I can't adequately relate how excellent Ross and Tish are. From the first meeting on you they were going to be great sitters. During my holidays I did not think about the house or my pet at all, which a test it is a testament to how confident I was that they would do a great job. I came home to a house that was tidier and better maintained then I left it :-)

Ross and Tish did an amazing job house sitting my home . I came home to an immaculately clean and tidy place : it was sparkling..and they had left a beautiful vase of flowers and fruit platter for me. . My plants had all blossomed while I was away and the cats were all in great condition and happy . All round a positive experience for everyone I can highly recommend Ross and Tish to anyone looking for excellent reliable house sitters

We cannot recommend Ross and Tish highly enough. This was our first experience of having a housesitter and they made it so easy. It was obvious our dog Murphy has fallen in love with them and had been well looked after. On our return the house was spotless with even some welcome essentials waiting in the fridge. Self-sufficient they required nothing from us. Wouldn't hesitate to use again if possible.
